FF7 Sucked IMO. It didn't interest me one bit. People will someday bomb Square enix. DoC will probably suck. How would you play as characters if it is a one man shooter?

Most of the people who say FF7 sucked usually victims of hype, people who played it thinking it would suck, or are ghrapic whores. Edit: And people who are just sick of hearing about it from others, which goes under victims of hype.

Of course, there ARE people who have played it when it first came out before it was popular and think it sucked anyway.

No its not the graphics. People think it is the best game in the world which they havent played all of the games. Its overrated and should die. But if you waste your money on DoC, dont blame me for warning ya'll. FFDoC is Squares last FF7 thing.

can really say, easily say that no RPG made after FF7 is better than FF7

For the sake of your teeth I hope Suikoden was made before FF7.

Final Fantasy IX is far superior to Final Fantasy VII in my opinion.

 Almost, almost.

Better. FF9 was better than FF7, but FF7 is a pretty good game indeed.

FF9 is my favorite FF, I don't really like any of the others :P aside from FFT and FF Land.

Square Enix sucks so much and they should die, Squaresoft has made like three good games.
And Enix has sucked after Lufia 2.
They combined and made supershit.

And yet Square Enix gets attention++.
The only company that actually churns out strings of good gameness is Natsume.

Square Enix gets the most attention because of Squar's Final Fantasy series and Enix's Star Ocean series, there were other games as well. People don't like square enix because they get attention, square enix gets attention because people like their games.

In reality though there can be no fact that a game is good or bad. It's all just someones opinion, and some people just have differant tastes in games. Its pointless to try to convince people to like FF7 when they have their mind set to hate it. Then of course theres the people with bias opinions and just say they like/hate the game because its like/not like another game, because it belongs to a popular series, or because of what their friends think.

I played through FF7 for a second time a few months ago so I would have the game fresh in my mind when I saw FF7: AC, and I would have to say its not as good as I throught it was. The story was a bit two sided, on one hand it was cliche following sephy everywhere, but on they other hand, it was intreging about whats happening with Cloud, and the ancients and stuff like that. The graphics sucked compared to modern games, but were good back then. The combat system seemed very slow compared to SO3's (which I just finished playing at the time).

There were a lot of iffy things in the game. It all depends on what you pull out if you like it or not.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

We're not trying to make you. Hell, no-one really cares.
I'm just classifying you under the category of haterofFF7. Also, the picture was the thumbsdown from Charas.

Heh. About the same. Only, I liked 10 and 8 too. Though, 10 pulls some really sucky plot-twists.

This game sucks giant monkey balls!!!!  :yell:

Lol, just kidding. I'm enjoying it so far. Is there a way to make the enemy wait while you figure out what your doing? I can't stand it when the enemy kills of my guy before I have a chance to navigate through the menu to get to my items.  :|

On another note, my current part consists of Cloud, Red XIII, and Vincent (i always liked the way he looked. :p) I'm considering training Cid as a Red replacement or backup. For those who have played, whats your all-star lineup?

Hmm, the main thing that seperates the characters is their limit breaks. Otherwise they can all use the same magic, and if you set them up right, at the end of the game they'll do the same damage and have the same hp. I found this part of the game to be rather stupid cuz I like characters to be more diverse in the battles, but whatever.

You want Cid and Cloud to be two of your party members. They have the best level 4 limit breaks (multiple attacks). The other members basically just have one powerfull hit that can take away 9999 hp. If you train your characters right, your regular attacks will take away 9999 x 4, so using the others limit breaks can be somewhat pointless.

On a side note, you may want to use Cait Sith. His final limit break is Slots, and it has a chance of killing ANY enemy instantly. I was lucky enough to get it while I fought the ruby weapon, but then the game froze...

My lineup was Cloud, Cid, and Vincent. I set up Flash on Vincent so he could kill half the enemies in one hit. Most of the time though I just had him as my magic person.
