**moved from AoA*Dude, is that Trevlac?
« on: November 21, 2005, 04:27:59 AM »
As you all know I had switched my OS to Linux from Windows 2000 (good choice too) but I knew very little about it.  I kept screwing things up and one day I totally crashed my GUI desktop manager.  I wasn't able to get on a while.  So I started running my OS from a Live CD (that's hell, let me tell you).  I got on the internet but only briefly when I had to do stuff.

Now Trevlac has a more stable version of Linux (I sold out and got Red Hat).  I will be more motivated to come to charas without waiting for 5 minutes for a single page to load (I told you Live distros are hell).

Charas seems to have calmed down a lot and I don't have to be paranoid that everyone here is Lord Raffles anymore.  Even though Kijuki is gone and Rean is permanently gone, I think I can come back now.  It seems that with the new mods and admin (congradulations everyone) we may be doing better.

There were some other personal reasons for not wanting to get on the computer much lately (sweet ichifo can confirm this.......) but I have those taken care of.  I'm just going to ignore those girls totally.

It's ironic you say that; we had a long built Raffles encounter last week. But that's all said and done.

Welcome back, crazy backwards brothe[STRIKE]l[/STRIKE]r .
