I have a problem with techno because it allows people who do not even play an instrument to sit at their computer and make up a song. That bothers me, because it ruins the years of work I've put into playing various instruments.

To tell you the truth, I used to agree wholeheartedly with that statement. Now I'm quite the opposite. I write, perform (synthesizer and some guitar), and produce music influenced by electronic artists. It does require more talent than you would think to write. Electronic music, when properly conceived, is extremely intricate. Music completely analog in recording and production is fairly rare today, and while it detracts somewhat from the realism of the music, electronic means allow an artist to more fully bring across a point through music.

Yeah. There are good Techno songs which can sound nice on other instruments. Like the FFVII Boss Battle Theme on the guitar.

not exactly my point... but ok.

You know what the coolest thing about this thread is, it's that at the top the advirtisments are for grunge related products. That's like an oxymoron, Grunge Products. So Anti-Establishment, Really stickin it to the man there by marketing there goods. Damn Corprot holds.
