Last of His Kind - RP

[Darkfox]

"RAHHHH!!!" Ren is heard yelling, a flash of bluish light with a pearl explosion and a portion of the darkness is purified, Ren is on his hands and knees, bluish bolts surge across the ground. "Return them, return them all or the only one who'll die is you creature of darkness! RETURN THEM ALL NOW AND LEAVE US ALONE!!"

[Dragonium]

Seizing the moment, Verde steps from the doorway of the Inn and runs to the group. He glances around at the others with a cynical frown, then steps forward, speaking calmly. "I do not know who you are, and I do not care what you are trying to do. I am no expert in this field, but whether you are man, beast, or a figment of each person's imagination, you must leave", he calls.

An orb of pulsating black energy whirls out of the darkness, seemingly from out of nowhere; the mage raises a hand, and the orb seems to catch fire and disintegrate into nothingness. Another one flies from out of the gloom, and he ducks to avoid it. "Come", he calls to the others, "I will handle this foe's magic. You must fight!".

[Drace]

Suddenly demonic creatures crawl from all the places.
"What the hell?" Locke draws his Demon Sword and holds his shield thight against hisself. "Fight till death takes us down!"

[Grandy]

 Atikkus slyces the head of one creature, and then concentrate trying to ressusect it as an ally, useless. "These creatures have no soul to me to bring back!" he shouts "We are REALLY on our own."

[Drace]

Locks slashes one in half and another and another and another. "They seem to keep on coming! Verde! I hope you know what you're doing!"

[Darkfox]

"Light be my guidance, make for us a path that is true!" Ren cried out as he held out both hands aimed at the demonic creatures gathering a light blue light. "Purify these lands in holy light!" With that he waves his arms sending out a wave of spiritual light destroying several of the demonic creatures.

Kite yells out "We must not give up! We will not die here!" with that Kite drew out his long sword and impaled one of the creatures.

[Rywho]

familliar chanting begins to fill Lupine's ears, as well s faintly to Gem's, though to Gem's surprise the words come from Lupine, he speaks the words as if they were second nature.  Rage fills Lupine the longer these words echo through him,  unseen forces lift him up into the air as his fur flashes between their blue, and gold.  Lupine's eyes go white and his body limp when his fur turns pure gold.  Light begins to emit from his fur, growing brighter over time until he almost looks etheral.  Lupine clenches his fists and then moves them in a wave, a shockwave of white energy is sent over the creatures destroying a large portion of their legion.

[Grandy]

 "What the hell was THAT?!" Atikkus was looking amazed to Gem.

[Darkfox]

"What be that light? Lupine? Yagh!" Kite tosses his sword which jams into one of creature's heads emptying out whatever it had in there onto the ground and then he opens two pouches that he carried around hidden away and jams his hand into them pulling out two large gauntlets, each of them studded with spikes and each having claws "I will be thou's one way stagecoach to hell!" Kite's gauntlets glow with a red aura as he rushes forwards, his teeth gritted he swings his left fist at one creature smashing it's face in and the spikes smashing into it's face as which without a doubt hurt as it writhed in agony along the floor, Kite yelled angerly as he swung one of the gauntlets down on one creature smashing it much like a bug strowing it's black intrails in a ring area, Kite continues this savage display, a barbaric look on his face, his eyes burning red with rage.

[Ben]

confused, people speak to gem, but he hears nothing...except for the vile whispering of the golden lupine......



To the others Gem would appear enchanted.....the whispering is causing great confusion in Gem.....And he begins to almost hallucinate.....something in the whisper has made Gem lose touch with reality.....however temporary....


"Gaaargh......Silence beast........"
Looking at the lupine, now reverting to its ferral form, Gem is filled with blind, uncontrollable rage.....Confusion gives way to blind anger........ignoring the bizzarre events unfolding around himm gem turns to kite.....

"your dog.....he means to kill us all.....t'was ne'er the Imp....twas.....the dog....."
Gems eyes glaze over, and rather than grabbing his efficient bow, Gem grabs his shortsword/Dagger.....Gems Tradmark Cloak of stealth falls to the ground with his quiver.........

Gem feels strange....Not well.....but powerfull......and like he has been defiled by the whispering wich he thought came from the lupine.....

"DOGMAN!!!! MINE ENEMY.....I WILL TASTE YOUR BLOOD THIS NIGHT, EVIL VERMIN!!! YOUR KIND....SLAYED MY MENTOR.....my only friend......."


Gems lip lets out a dribble of blood, right before gem ran at the lupine sward beared....


Gems Mind is clearly under the influence of dark magic....this is evident in his glazed, colorless eyes......the same spell that controlls the lupine

Without warning, crushing the head of one of the demons with his right gauntlet tosses it's corpse in Gem's path it's black blood spilling into a pool before him and Kite yells out in a tone that almost sounds inhuman "It be dark magic, if thou are as strong as thou boast to be you should fight it, else I'll hath to put you down as well!" Kite rushes out hitting Gem with his right gauntlet with the palm, where it's softest but still hurtful. "Bring thouself out of it thoust pitiful mortal! He hast harmed nobody so far, maybe it won't last long, graahhh... what is wrong... my skull burns with such rage... I must fight it's influence..."

[Ben]

Gem, stunned for a moment, from Kites Open Handed Slap, looks about confused and blinking.......
"What....ugggghh.....my   head......whispering...."

Gem looks as if a surge of something horrible painfull passes over his body, and he falls to his knees, blood now running from his nose and his mouth....

Gripping his head with his hands, wich have now tossed the sword out of reach slightly, to prevent an uncontrolled kill


"its....its proximity.....

if    I    can    get   to   a   s-safe  dist ance....

I should   be able    to   fight   it off...."

Gem gathers his remaining mental, and pyhsical strength, and with a blood currdling scream, dashes for his Cloak, quiver and Bow, behind him......with a singular motion it is grabbed, and gem dashes to a safer vantage point, arming and equipping himself...

Gem climbs an ornate door-arch-way, and perches to a ledge high on the wall of the inner church....And holds his bow at the ready.....

"KIT!ATTICUS!!..What evil is this?!? Get to a safe point....the lupine could turn at any minute....this is  sortof what happened when it attacked me...only it seems to me, alot more powerfull than before"
Gems explanation is cut short, as he sends an arrow into the head of an undead, reanimating at Kites feet, trying to pull his feet loose from under it......the force of the arrow, che head, and shatter and splinter in the brick floor.....And bits of shrapnel to pock mark kites legs.....Bringing a slightly suprised look from Kite.

"Ive never shot an arrow with such force before....strange" Gem thought to himself.

[Darkfox]

"Wasn't that one of Atti..." Kite was cut shot being scratched by one of the demonic creatures, his eyes fill with rage and he snarls his teeth grit baring his teeth, his gloves glow more and he smashes his right gauntlet with fist closed tightly straight into the face of the creature, not only knocking it's head off it's body but completely obliderateing it, multiple red marks burn under his eyes, they are 6 in total, 3 under each eye, the force from the swing causes a distruption in the air causing another creature's ribcage to collapse and snap, and breaks off another's arm, Kite seems on verge of losing all control but then he yells out, his voice fluctuating "Lupine, if thoust can hear me in there, focus thine rage, focus thine anger on these vile beasts! Let it all out on these who deserve thine wrath and mine! Let no mortal get caught in the crossfire, I know thou hast the strength! Thou art not a monster!".

[Rywho]

 Words are lost to this etheral looking wolf man, again his fur glows to the point of pure light.  Letting out a howl of anger, and hatred for these creatures, another wave flies out from his body washing over the beasts in a purifying manner, which causes them to disintergrate.  The wave ends the onslaught of creatures, as well as Lupine's chanting.  Blue begin to restore to his fur as the gold fades from it, his pupils begin to slowly return,  the granted rage and strength from his chanting begins to fade from all who were effected.  Lupine slowly rests his four paws on the ground, looking weak and drained his eyes look over to Gem, speaking as best as he can, "Gem.........are you......alright.........I'm sorry that you were effected as well........I didn't know that.....would happen......please.....forgive me."  struggling to stay up, Lupine's eyes soon roll into the back of his head and he collapses.

[Ben]

a chill runs down Gems spine......

"Lupine.....what power do you posess? What manner of magic is this?"

looking around at the strewn bodies, and Kit, Atticus and the others, all shocked at their own action or the actions of others

Hopping Down from the Perch, Gem Hilts hos longbow, and picks up his Sword....

"My lord.....such carnage....such a foul odour....
What a dark night this is...."



Walking over to the lupine, gem helps hoist it up to its feet....

"For the Love of ZGod, Somebody get my friend some medical attention..." (Much to the amazment of Kite....Upon seeing the look on Kits face upon this remark Gem intercedes..."What?
Yeah yeah, I know.....But this thing is Obviously not a run of the mill lupine....what we have here is something of a demi-god status.....and I plan on keeping this Lupine safe from harm untill we part its path.....Dog-Men I hate....This one is a friend now...."
Turning its head to the weakened lupine.....
"Do you have a name, friend?"
