My sister and her boyfriend got in a car accident.

Some idiot did an un-safe left turn and smashed into the side of the car. My sister's boyfriend's head is a bit gnarly looking, my sister's knee got a hole punched in it from something on the bottom of dashboard, and he big toe's jammed.

The car is completly totaled (luckly it was a rental) and my sister had to get six stiches for her knee. We were in the hospital for four hours.

Anyway, it could have been a fatal accident for both of them very easily, and that would have been one of the damn worst things that could've happened at this time of year. Or any time of year, come to that.

But, all in all, everyone's ok.

Whew! Glad to hear that! It'd suck for that to happen right now. As for the dumb **** who's responsible, I hope he gets a nice, long jail sentence.

good to hear everyone's ok :) something similiar happend to me last week luckly was on a traffic light :) and all my car got damage was the left side marker and the front bumper a bit offI got $700 for that little accident :p

as far as no one dies... anyways, some of my family members also had an accident with their car some months ago. The car ended upside down, as my dad said. Some weeks later, they visited us and my uncle had a strange mark on his forehead. Ok, hope they recover from it.

Dur, unless he was drunk he can't go to jail... or unless he was a joy rider/person without a lisence/insurance.... or if he was proved to be speeding or breaking a law. DUR!
