I don't know about Gundam, because there aren't really any Gundams, per se. I haven't actually planned any Gundam Bosses, (I'm toying with the idea of fighting Big O and an Eva unit).
InuYasha...hmm...he hates chocobos in the game...Miroku's still a pervert (I wanted to make the game T-rated, so no actual lewd acts are seen), and Shippo is still whiny and short. Sephiroth...I think you guys will hate his appearance. He doesn't fight Cloud, whom makes no appearance until the end (a nice little dramatic ending-cut-scene for Sephiroth), and I repeat: HE DOESN'T JOIN THE PARTY UNLESS YOU CLEAR THE GAMES GINORMOUS 'Slimey the Slime' SIDE-QUEST!!!

Hmm....Yomuko Readman?...Well...I see her as an easily distracted person, so in the chapter were you're her bodyguard, she gets into a lot of trouble.

Robotam! You'll love this! Ahem...Ginji and Ban are the second people to join your party. Ban has his Snaketouch and Jagan ability (like that?) and Ginji has a Thunder Punch and Thunder Rage...but that last one is too powerfull...I gotta tone it down a wee bit...
Oh, Hevn, Himiko, Paul, Dr. Jackal, Shido, Madoka, and Kazuki come up too, but don't join the party (but I don't have their faces...and their sprites aren't very similar-looking...especially Ban's, Hevns, and Paul's...or Kazuki for that matter...think you can help, Robotam?)
Ban is still Ban (meaning that he's a little cocky, but you really don't see that much), and Ginji is still sorta childish and trusting (but you don't see that much, either...)

Hmm...the Pet Shop of Horrors?...Got no clue what to put in it, except for an Evil Man-Eating Chocobo ^_^, and Proto-Jenova. Any ideas?

Dr. Wily is still Dr. Wily....he kidnaps Hevn, but he talks about how he first used to work for Bill Gates (that's where he got the idea for the Mettaur). Bass is a push-over, though, with Ginji's Thunder Rage.

Okay, I get it--Sailor Moon sucked eggs, and I can't ruin her any further than she already is...good thing, considering how little I know about her...

Yuffie? Tifa? Heck, I cleated FFVII, so I know how to make them. Vincent...uh...would he prosecute a cosplayer dressed as him? Cid is still a raving old geezerd, and RedXIII is perhaps a little more worrysome than he should be (Barret doesn't apear).

Chocobos? Eh...walking around and saying 'Wark' or 'Kweh'...business as usual...I haven't created any way to ride one, yet...

Shigeru?...Uh...Well...hey, we can all take a crack at our favorite game designers sometimes, right?

Hmm...anyone else? Oh, yeah...You find the Saber Marionettes...but it's business as usual with them...(Follow the Otaru, at all times...), and Hanagata is still gay. He also gets beat up...

Dakki? Well...you get captured by her, after BERYL kidnapps you, so...she's still an airhead, but she has a crush on Cain, a demon-kid who joins your group. Also, she turns into a big, fat fox (not so much the fat part, though). No Taikunobu, though.

Beryl? I took the liberty of making her a traditional, 'I'll get you someday' villainess. No worries on her.

So...the characters with a lineage are safe...It's the Sailor's that are getting changed a bit.

Oh...ZeroKirby? 'T-Rated'. No hot Yuffie-on-Moon-on-Luna action for you. InuYasha crap? In your opinion (no offense). 'Giant Robot Ownage'? Please explain.

PS: If I need to fix something, say so. If you guys have a sprite to loan me of any of the above-mentioned Get Backers (or Faceset that doesn't get messed up when you import it into RM), I'd appreciate the favor of being sent it. And get a stretcher for Robotram--he's gonna need it for when he finds out that I have no way of sending you dudes the game (unless the Beta Testers give it)...

...But if anyone can tell me how to show screenshots of the game, I'd be appreciated!

well, I didn't read all of it, but maybe instead of such LONG posts, just give us some Bios, storyline, and Screenshots.(press prnt scrn, right next to F12, to take a screenshot, then press CTRL + V to past in mspaint or whatever you use.)

If you're feeling adventurous, change the names and what the characters look like and WHAMMO!  An original game.

I don't hate fangames, infact, it can be fun to play a good fangame.  Good.  That's the key.  Humour games (or just plain weird crazy messed-up) tend to be better for oringal stuff (IMO).

But, after this thread is all done, and possibly locked, it's YOUR game, so make it how YOU want.

You gotta ask yourself, though, how 'Namco X Capcom' is so big, considering that it's just basically a big fanfic game made by the companis themselves...Meiscool, I know--Namco and Capcom aren't their own fans...but that still means, you see unlikely team-ups and cool scenarios....

PS: Robotram, check it out: one of four boss battles, with none other than Ginji and Ban, the Get Backers. Yes, I know--it doesn't look like Ban. This is the best I could do. And yes--that is Serenade from Megaman Battle Network 3. This is in the Dr. Wily level. And sorry that it looks like crap--I changed it to 256-color bitmap so that it would work...

Disclaimer: Actual game doesn't look like this: I put the pic to 256-colors, so it looks about 99999-times cruddier than it really is. Thanks about the sprites and stuff......uh....who's Teshimine? Is it Natsume's last name? Is it the guy who used to be with Ginji when he was with the Volts (the dagger-thrower)? I know it's not Makubex--and I can't put him in....then again...the Limitless Fortress would be a cool level....
...also, if things keep up, this game (and me) won't be able to come out--it's gonna be too huge, and I've learned that nobody plays a game with Sailor Moon in it...
