X-Men Untitled
« on: January 17, 2006, 07:48:35 AM »
This game features 10 playable X-Men, each with their own unique attack, including Beast, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Gambit, Colossus, Iceman, and Professor X.

Also features multiple endings based on time, and a new game+ option.

Made with RPGMaker2000, RTP is required, MP3 patch is recommended if you want to hear the voice samples, but not necessary, though the intro may seem pointless.

Download it now here:

In case you missed it when it was posted here back in March, you can also check out my LOTR:FOTR game by clicking on the LOTR pic.  (The other pics start the X-Men download.)

I have walkthroughs for both games on their respective pages in case you get stuck, but please report any bugs in this topic (shouldn't be too many), and of course feedback is welcome.

Aw, too bad it's RM2k. Everytime I play an RM2k game it tells me that Harmony.dll is missing so I can't play. Sorry, I would play it otherwise.

You guys know you can download it and convert it to rm2k3, right? Well, I had a different problem. I went to play it and it said, File Future 1 is missing. Any idea what's up with that?

As in, I can't do it either, which sucks because I love to compare my coding to other people's.

Thanks for fixing that link for me blaze_shinigami, but how do you do it?
I'd like to fix the one in the top post, although you could also just cut and paste the URL I guess.

Swordmaszter, hope you enjoy the games!

drenrin2120, the X-Men game is finished.  You get the best ending if you get all X-Men and beat it in less than two hours, but it will probably take about five hours your first try, maybe more if you want to do everything, especially gambling.  The LOTR one only covers FOTR for the most part, I'm just getting back to work on TTT now.  There are a few TTT scenes in though.  Still, despite being a demo, LOTR:FOTR is about ten hours long.

I don't know what the harmony.dll is, but there isn't one in X-Men Untitled, just a harmony.log with a bunch of german in it (probably from the german mp3 patch I installed).  There is a harmony.dll in the LOTR on though.  I don't really know what these do, but I've never had any problems, though I have RM2k installed.

Future1 is an RTP file, you need to install the RM2k RTP or neither game will work.

K, I'm finally home, and I am extremely excited about the LOTR game. I must say, that the maps look amazing. You are quite skilled. After I download the right things, I'll finally play the game! can't wait.

I gotta say, I was disappointed with the X-men game, the graphics weren't very spectacular and I didn't evne make it that far becuase I kept getting killled in one hit by those damned robots. I had no idea what I was suppose to do and it was aggravating. Sorry, I'm gonna try the LOTR one tho. :(
