My parents are becoming cool

My parents have been cool pretty much my whole life. And not cool in a sense of they buy me every single thing I ask for, but more on the terms of they've actually raised and taught me. So yeah, I'm really thankful that I was lucky enough to be their kid. ^^

XD Well, I've been thinknig I mgiht want one more piercing, and I was thinking the lip might work, but I asked her, and it wasn't even serious, jsut jokingly, and she's like, "No! Not while you're under my roof! Ask again and you're grounded!" I was like, jeez, sorry!

I graduate in 2007. I plan to get my ear before my lip. My dad is crazy since he grew up in Kenya and the kids do all the work so i thinks we should do that to. but he wil by me anything as long as it is electronic.

You were born July 30th, 1992 and you graduate in 2007!? That would make you... still 14 when you graduate! Are you just one of those really smart people who goes through school really fast? My sister went to college with a kid like that. He was only 12...

Anyway, about the piercing thing, that's really not for me. I don't know how my parents would react if I asked.

My parents have always been extremely leniant. But that's probably because of my behaviour when I was younger.
Yeah, I skipped about 4 months of school in 2004-05. Straight. With barely a peep out of the 'rents. I was only dragged in by the law eventually.

Well, I've got it bad because my mom's "old-fasioned". I stay out too long and she's ready to report a missing person. It's not that I don't agree with her about stuff, I know the risks. At least I'm having fun. I can't stand sitting around and having a quiet, uneventful life like my parents. It makes me feel old. I wanna stay young, or at least be able to say I had some fun in my teen years when I'm old. Better than saying "Well, I would have went out and partied when I was a kid, but my mom wouldn't let me so I took up knitting as a past-time."

My mum (yeah, I do British version!) is ok, I guess. Not very strict, especially for being the only parent for 2 children.

But yeah, I don't tell me much. Friends, school, hobbies etc. I doubt she knows much about what's going on there.

My parents have always been cool. They can be irritating at times, but what parent doesn't? What PERSON doesn't? My mom is a bit over-protective though.
