They sound like hacked or edited versions of the game. I see hacked versions of roms around a lot.

I don't think so...
I saw some too. There was BS Zelda, wich was a kind of remake of the first Zelda, but on the SNES.
Then BS Excite Bike, or something like that, wich was, well, excite bike, but with other Characters, like Mario, Luigi etc. on the SNES too.
I also saw some other BS, but I don't remember wich one.

Or is it what you mean?

BackStab, that games are so bad that the companies are stabing the gamers in the back with them, like Napoleon and his cousin Brutus.

 j/k, I dunno.

I know for sure. It stands for bullsh*t.

They're made by smaller companies just to piss off the real companies.

My pen pal (In Tokyo) told me.

I have a BS Super Mario 3. It's nearly impossible. I can't even make it past the second level.

That's the point. The games are supposed to be made terribly.

I played BS Super Smash Bros. It has only half of the characters and the game keeps locking up.

The whole point is to anger the big companies.

Actually...

Games with the prefix- BS had to do with the Japanese Add-on for Super nintendo Satellaview, players could download additional content form a satelite provided by nintendo.

Zelda BS was a remake of the original nintendo one, with enhanced graphics, and additional levels were downloadable from the satalite, there were also other games such as Mario world 3, where additional levels were downloadable, and also the Infamous "Radical Dreamers." The true sequal to "Chrono Trigger."

Satellaview wasnt very succesful and not brought to the United states.
