I read the storyline too. It is cliche. I could almost predict the entire outcome of the game. Unless you can give us a REALLY dramatic plot twist, I don't know what to say.

At least the graphics are good. A lot of contradictory black. Strangely dark, and scary looking even though you're using Mac & Blue and Secret of Mana (Which is supposed to be bright and colorful).

Besides the very large filesized voices, the cliche' story and second-rate characters, what are YOU doing?

Me? I'm making the actual gameplay, the events and everything. Everyone else helps with resources and such, I just compile it all to make the game more enjoyable. That was an easy question.  

 Oh and thats just the intro, the game isnt really all that dark. Theres actually quite alot of humor and such. I just had the intro having a gloomy feel to it, since its raining during its events.

You have:
A modernish/black Menu
A mostly Black/Dark Title Screen
Mac & Blue chipsets with a lot of black in them
Facesets with a lot of black
A lot of dark colored charasets
A reliance on Secret of Mana backdrops which use a lot of black.

That's pretty dark. You might not know this, but if you keep one ,main color throughout the game, it's gonna affect your game in some way. I see black, I think gothic or something.



Good example. You have modern looking menus. You're main character wearing lots of black. Your facesets use a lot of black outlines (The one eye faceset thing is kind creepy). That black/brown tree in the back makes the screen feel darkish. Your monsters look like pope approved pokemon. WHY THE **** WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO STAB THEM?!

I played a game with similar graphics to this one, and the entire game was about vampires. Can you add a radiating light picture or something since you're using a CBS? The more you know.

lol, I don't think I completely agree with the dude on top, except with the fact about the monster thing. XD But other than that, I think the graphics are fine. In my opinion, anyway.

Make sure to put in a feature where you can attack your own characters (like final fantasy), but I'm being to think me own teammates would be more threatening to me in the game then those digimon.

 Anyways, life goes on. I probabaly wont have that feature added, but hey, we all have the right to dream.

Just so you know I wasn't bashing you at all. It's kind of a thing you find in professional games. Colors DO affect games.

But like I said before, the graphics are gorgeous.
