i got a ps2 emu working once, it only played onld ps2 games like DMC and FFX, and it only had a 3rd of the ps2 speed, so it took like hlaf an hour to load the ~DMC intro, but yeh anyway, it should take about 10 mins to set the ps emu up, like EPSXE thats easy to use

No.. If you knew anything about computer programming, you'd know that it was a byte (I won't go into an explanation)
And why get a TV tuner card when you have a tv already? unless you have annoying relatives who don't let you watch tv, it seems like a wasted effort.

Okay, so I've got the BoF3 ISO. It says I have to configure my ePSXe. I go to video to configure and it says select video plugin. I have none, what is a video plugin? And do I have to burn the ISO onto a CD before being able to play it?

Hmm... Okay, so I got the bios, the plugins, everything so it works. I may just have a bad ISO file, but when I go to select the ISO file to run it, I have to show ALL files. right itsn't saved as a .001 file. Do I have to burn it or something?

EDIT: And apex, thansk for the link. :)

Dude, I seriously don't think the difference would add up to a byte. And in any case, would it really matter? No, it wouldn't.

hmm, try downloading "magicISO" you'll need the full version to make a file that big an ISO so also look for a crack for it, then you add the file into the iso your making, save it and then it should work

Exactly, petes plugins are basically the best out there.

http://www.pbernert.com/index.htm is his site.

Dude, don't bother with magicISO, go with cloneCD, google it, its legal. The trial version makes ISOs that are any size, just after the trial period, you can't use cloneCD to burn ISOs, or I don't know what happens after it expires, but you can always make ISOs, I use it all the time.

I use a TV tuner card so I don't need my TV anymore. I have very little desk space, and theres not enough room for my monitor and tv. Since both my monitor and my TV are 19 inches, its not like I'm loosing any screen size when i watch tv. TV tuner cards are handy if you're like me and don't have enough space, but if you have a computer in your room and a TV already, a tuner card is pretty much worthless. And if you're computer isn't in your room, you might as well watch tv on your familys computer.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Well if you mean the PS2 emulator as in PCSX2, then it is bound to somtime soon be updated. They are saying it will be only 10fps slower than the real PS2, which is an impressive leap. The new release will support more games and for others will be bugfixes.

As for PSX, there is ePSXe or the new emu currently in the works. Either way you can get updates at the romhacking network somtimes for the new PSX emu.
