I must say, I agree with the statement made above that MrMister has always been an exception to the rule, and that he has often taken advantage of it, which he shouldn't have.  However, I also agree with something that he and other "spammers" have said.  Midnight has recently also been the exception to the rule, most notably of these, spam.  We all know that Mid has been spamming the same amount as Meiscool or any other people, but has never (or at least that I have heard of) been scolded for it, such as this PM warning sent to the others.  Especially since moderators should be models for the community, I figured that the leadership of the forum would need to stop spamming (I'm not suggesting anything about the rest of the staff) before expecting regular members to do the same.  Lead by example.

Meh, my two cents.

Nobody really wants it to be a big deal because...well it isnt a big deal. "Attacked." I'm sorry but..rofl. It's the internet. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you can't take a joke on the INTERNET, you're a total loser. Anyway, I'm not trying to start some..revolt or anything, but I feel like I might aswell say what I think.

I was going to add my 2 cents to this but since I dont want to give more burden to someone who doesnt need it right now, I'll hold it for some other day.

In the meanwhile, MrMister, I do incist for you to stay, just try to balance out your "games"  with helpful actions.

Even though you are a favorite toa  lot of ppl you are the worst to others, i am sure you can find it in you to withdraw some of the aggression.

Don't go, your time in here, i guarantee is yet not up.

As for Midnight spamming. I kinda disagree. There's a difference in the kind spam she produces and the one mrmr meiscool and even i make. Her um "spam" isnt as harmful as other ppl's spam.

Yes its spam, we all spam dammit. But its gotten to the point were what kind of spam is the worst.

If you get your kicks by making feel bad on the INTERNET, you're a bigger loser.

It is my sole responsibilty to see that people are happy on these forums. Did Raffles break any rules? Technically no. But he made a great number of people very upset to the point where they didn't want to come here anymore.

Unfortunately it is very hard to code "don't be a jerk and at least try to respect other people" into a list of rules, so instead we forbid certain offensive actions. Every now and then someone finds something that bothers people that is not against a specific rule. That's what the PMs are about. Not because I hate anyone or think that they are the source of all the problems around here, but simply because some resemblance of order needed to be restored.

Some of the people that received PMs got the hint. That's it for them. They're 100% fine in my books. Apparently MrMister decided that being nice is out of the question. I guess that's it for him as well.

If you actually feel bad after the person said what he/she said, your the BIGGEST loser. ;) This forum in general need to stop being so sensitive. Honestly. And Mid is a fine mod, but its not about that. Its about other people who deserved that spot alot more than she did. Before she became a mod, she wasnt on charas for months. There were alot of dedicated members who DESERVED that title. And she just comes back and all of the sudden "hay guys i r mod lol." Dont misunderstand me, I'm not saying like "Oh I should've been mod." To be honest I'd rather not be one, but alot of members DESERVED that title alot more than she did. I kind of think she's only mod now cause she's friends with you. Look man, this is ridiculous and its been blown out of proportion not by spammers, not by flamers, not by average members or noobs, but by the staff that runs charas.

EDIT: Meiscools post wasnt SPAM. It was a well placed JOKE. A JOKE that I for one LAUGHED AT.

Then again you can trust friends more than other people huh  and you know them better too and know better if they are up the job:P like persay, if I was very good friends with mrm, and lets pretend I knew him for how he acts here... I wouldnt recommend him as a mod, ever. (no disrespect meant) but tll me of 3 people who deserved the positions and why <.< its an issue about trusting the decisions made rather than hope the worst to happen

I think the mod talk doesnt really fall into here . or maybe i miss something cause of this dumb internet

It is becoming more and more apparent that you think wandering around and locking threads is basically the gist of a moderator's duties.

Is Midnight my friend? Yes. Do I realize aponting my friend as a moderator is a controversial move? Of course. But out of all the mods lately, she has helped me the MOST with running this forum. BECAUSE she is my friend. She has no problems coming to me and saying exactly what she sees and what she thinks needs to be done. She doesn't always get her way (much to her bitterness  :p ) but simply having someone to discuss decisions with is invaluable, especially now that Kijuki and Darkfox are gone.

ALL of the current modeators are my friends. ALL OF THEM. For the simple reason that I MAKE SURE I am friends with them. Because I need people I can talk to and trust. People that I know will work with me when crap like this rapidly becomes a big stinking deal as things on the internet are oft to do.

And all these people that so-called "DESERVED" a mod position... who? Where is this mysterious line of people waiting for jobs? I hire new moderators based mostly on who tells me directly that they want a job here. I don't hire them all of course, but it's much easier than wandering around asking people "hey, do you want a job?" People that ask for jobs are much more likely to stick with them over the years. People that were elected by popular election, such as Trevlac or Red, that everyone liked? Not so good I'm afraid.

You can say what you like about how Charas runs. The fact of the matter is that the staff gets along better than it ever has and, barring a few extremely minor incidents like this, this has been the most peaceful summer I can remember. It's not my fault that lots of people have a ton of time on their hands and no huge crisis here to complain about.

My number 1 pick for mod would Probably be DragonBlaze. He's active, very understanding and doesent overreact over small things. Arcanagirl. And last but not least, Drace. All for the same reasons. (Drace is pretty much a less uhm...intense version of MrMr.) And if all mods are your friends, why would it make a difference if you chose someone else(Someone who deserves it, of course).

The posts above are called having FUN. Having fun on a fun FORUM.It wont lead the topic to an entire new discussion. It'll die out in like 3 posts. It wont kill anybody and I'm certain no one is offended.
