That could be used as a teleporter or save point...or perhaps a tube-brain-mother thing that feeds off of electricity and spawns brain leeches. Like in Metroid.

no idea wot it is, looks pretty cool tho, i would probably use it for decoration on an alien spaceship or something, would need to be ripped into a charaset tho.
