Final RPG
« on: August 06, 2006, 06:07:59 PM »
OK, since U guys think the first game I ever talked about in public sucked, I'm going to start over the entire series. Here is my original settings for Final RPG. Tell me some new suggestions and improvements, if it is too cliche, etc.

The Story:
There exists a prophecy: Everytime evil rises, a hero will be born to save the world. The hero will have to save the world. Once he does so, he is free to live his life, but evil will once again rise and a new hero will be born to save the world. Thus, causing another event in the chain of Good & Evil. A new evil will never arise as long as the hero has killed the evil and is still living... One day in the city of Eluryh, a boy named Fess was on his way to Eluryh Town Market to buy some food for his mother, but what he doesn't know is that this visit to Eluryh Town Market will change his life forever...

The Cast:

The Good Guys:
Fess
Class: Average
A average person who is pretty young. He lives w/his mother, a widow, since her husband died during the great war that nearly destroyed Eluryh and started a new Eluryh.

Lena
Class: Soldier
The King of Eluryh's best Soldier. Her dad was a Soldier and her mom was an angel. She was told to accompany Fess on his quest to save the world.

Marcus
Class: Priest
Marcus is an undead Priest. Fess met him in the Okirakak Graveyard. Fess accidentally casted a spell which revived him from the dead, but Marcus wasn't revived with skin, so he is basically a walking skeleton that happens to be a Priest.

Agatha
Class: Magic User
Agatha is the royal princess of Eluryh. She studies the art of Magic in her spare time. She dreams of propheies that strangely comes true. She plays a huge part in the game. Mostly close to the end.

Amy
Class: Monk
Girls can become Monks too! Amy was Agatha's sister, but she didn't want to be royal. So she left for the mountains to train as a Monk. She is now a master herself. She has no psychic powers like her sister because to become a Monk, she had to give up all her magical powers.

Khar
Class: Thief
Khar is a very skillful Thief. As you know, in most RPG's Thieves are physically very weak in attacking and defending, but they are very fast. Khar has found a way to take advantage of his swiftness. Since he is very weak in defending, he wears knight's armor, which should slow him down, but Khar can still move very fast in it.

Luts
Class: Ninja
Luts is Lena's cousin. His mother was an angel and his father was a Ninja. Luts is very skilled with a spear. Even though his mother was an angel, he only aquired some of her angelic powers. That explains why his wings are so small.

Slobodan
Class: Wise Man
Slobodan is a very Wise Man. He is VERY OLD, but yet he looks young. Isn't that strange? His sword is the source of his youthfulness. He has much knowledge of the world and it's secret which is very useful to Fess and his party.

The Bad Guys:
DEMON SERAPH
The master of all DEMONs. He can summon any DEMON anytime he wants. The only thing that can even scratch him is the legendary sword of legends, 'the Photon Blade,' but the sword was split into 3 parts, as told in legends to protect the world from any evil who ever obtains it. The 3 parts were the handle, the guard, and the blade. The DEMON SERAPH was originally good. He was an angel until he planned to rebel against God, but was cast out of heaven. Thereafter, DEMON SERAPH created a second "heaven" underground for those of evil persuasion.

Oh by the way, I'm using RPG Maker 95 to make this game, & every1 who helps me out will get a special thanks in the credits.

You probibly wont want to but if i were you I would use 2K3 or Xp man. Really. 95 is ok, but with 2k3 you can use this website to get some incredible charasets or make some incredible charasets.  Or you can use XP, it has way better graphics (sorta lol) but the bad thing is you cant really use any program to make good charsets like this awsome site!!!! But yeah. That's my explanation or way to help. :jumpin:

I would, but I'm planning to use every RPG Maker for Windows to make at least 1 game in the series. I'm planning to use XP for Final RPG XIII and up.

If you want, you can use rm2k, but don't use 95. Most people don't have 95, and thus wouldn't be able to play your game.

The reason most games span across differant systems, such as final fantasy starting on the nintendo and going through the ps2, is because they make it with the best thing they have avalible at the time. You wouldn't see any games being made for the super nintendo now because its past its time, in the same way, rm95 has passed its time.

If you really want to make a good game, use what you have avalible to you. Rm2k and 2k3 are almost identical besides the battle system. Rmxp and rm2k/3 both have their pros and cons, its basically just personal preferance which one is better for you. But rm95 just isn't up to par with the other systems.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

Shouldnt it be Eluryh Market? Or Bazaar? Why would one go to a castle to buy/get food?

Cause links to ANY RPG maker are illegal and your link would be deleted. It probably wouldnt be that hard to export your things from '95 and import them to 2k3.

That really isn't a plot.. more like a teaser. If you want a plot, you need to have backstory, main characters, features, etc. look at other games on this forum and you'll get the idea. You haven't given us really anything to give our critique on.

OK, I added more stuff like Character Bios. The main objective is written under the DEMON SERAPH's profile.

I have trouble believing that you are, in fact, 17-18 years of age.
