Need charset edits for ABS
« on: October 14, 2006, 07:02:58 PM »
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I want this guy in three other sets, please.

First, have him walking with a staff (plain wooden staff)

Then, one of him swinging the staff.

Lastly, one of him with a blue magic circle at his feet. Like the circle used in the battlecharset generator.

I would appreciate it if this could get done.

What kind of staff? Classic Mage staff with the Question Mark tip, or a more Snake-Bendy staff like a stick, or a straight one?

Says a plain wooden staff.

Like a walking stick, but browner.

Yes, it says plain wooden staff. But thats still not enough to really go by. Walking sticks have different heads, different lengths, different curves. A 'plain walking stick' can be 7 ft long with a round tip, or a 4 ft crooked staff with a hook head. If by 'plain walking stick' you meant perfectly straight human height stick, you shoudl have said so.

Point taken, duly noted.

Human length, no specific head, old looking.

I make an RMXP ABS System too, so I do have some experience. If you need help, PM me.

Anyway, I tried some things and I made your hero walking with its staff. I know it doesn't look that good if you just see the charset, but try it out on RMXP and you'll see it's not that bad at all!

I'm working on the magic thingie, but it's kind of hard to make the circle. If I make it, it overlaps the character below it. Would this do to?

Thank you very much, SilverBlade.

The casting is good, but is there anyway you can add some kind of magical occurance?
Like a small energy field or a crystal?

If not, what you're doing is great.

No problem

Anyway, is this better, or does it need even more?
I know it doesn't look much, but that's because it's a small pic.

Well if you're going to credit me, could you credit 'Slif the Sliver'. That's my 'Gamemaker name'.

Here are the four magic poses. I'll be working on the swinging part soon, but I need to work on my game too. Anyway, I made my swinging animations in a battle animation. Do you want yours in a charset or in a battle animation?
