The Banner, Part 3

Alright, so we're going to take a serious stab at the banner this time. Alex said he's going to be gone for about a week, so we have about that amount of time to get it done.

First of all, I'll be making the banner, and I'll be needing your guys' resources. I'm going to use the member-with-portrait dealie, same format as above. There will be NO arguments on this. However, if you want to make a standard banner with no members, go right ahead - apparently, the cycling image code isn't too hard to implement, so we'll probably be going with that to include all of your guys' hard work.

Submitting rules:
-All user-submitted resources must be hosted on an external server (ex. Imageshack or Photobucket). Attached pictures will not be accepted; however, you can submit your resource as many times as you like, until you get it right.  I'm nice like that.

-To be eligible for submittion, you must have been here at least 5 months, be at least semi-active (ie. post once at least every week), and/or have reached Senior Member status. You must fulfill at least 2 of those to be eligible; however, I will make some exceptions.

-Myself, the mod team and Saikar will be able to veto any resources submitted, for any reason more than "You don't deserve it". If you feel you have been vetoed unfairly, please PM me, and we'll work it out.

-The format of the resources submitted must be a 48 by 48 image, featuring an avatar or faceset as well as a charset image. Generated resources will be accepted on a case-by-case basis, but RTP will not be allowed.

-The deadline for resources will be Sunday evening, at 10:00 PM Charas time. That's plenty of time to do a 5-minute copy-and-paste job, and it's also ample time to get something made up if necessary. So don't complain when the deadline's passed and you didn't get a chance to submit your resource.


Keep the thread on-topic, guys. Only post resources or a completed banner here; anything else will be deleted.

2. I think we should pay homage to the oldies that are sadly no longer with us, and include some of them.

I suggest an animated one that has half the members on there and every 5 secs it switches to the same banner with the other half of the members.

As I said in the first post, there'll likely be an image-cycling code so that there could be multiple banners. And yeah, I'll include some oldies (Reain_, Red Giant, RotD, etc.)

To MIC and Plight: Remember, you have to use an image-hosting site to get accepted. And MIC, I don't feel like arranging them, so re-post it (preferably with an avatar of some sort, although I don't care if you do or not).
