pokemon sprites

a full set of everything i have made... what do you guys think?

and can anyone please tell me how to upload them onto rpgmaker2k3? i have a lot of experiance and have fully  creatd the world for my pokemon game (pokemon amber) but i need to add these pokemon to it.

The sprites are good, but they are very unoriginal.  It's obvious they are just recolors, or combinations of 2-3 other pokemon, if that.  It is easy to make a fan series (Not personally one), of this game, but you lack originality for these sprites.  And as for importing them, you have to created a seperate image for each one.  I would also recommend using RPG Maker 2000, as those sprites don't agree well with the 2003, unless you plan on making it custom.

Call mer nerdy for being able to do this, but every single one, except the ones that appear to be lifted from the Dragon Warrior games, I can point out what pokemon they are based off of, and taken from.  They are unoriginal regardless if they are hand drawn.  It would be the same as me hand drawing link and then giving him Clouds Buster Sword.  I merged two characters together that aren't mine, making them handrawn does not make them original.  Better luck next time.

It is true. If you make a sprite of a pre-existing character the copywright of the character still belongs to the character owners.

I will say though they do look like they are edits. But even if you did copy pixel by pixel another image is it not still the same thing as copying the whole image if your looking at the original the whole time?

I dunno myself but I personally don't much like mock-up jobs. Might be ok for practiceing shadeing schemes and styles but that is about it.

I personally can't see the images, so I can't make a comment on them.

However, if you post things to recieve critism, you shouldn't complain when you get a bad review. If they think they are unoriginal, regardless as to if you sprited them or hand drew them, you should probally change them to look more original. If you're just posting this and not going to make changes based on what people say because you think they are perfect, that's fine too; just don't complain if someone else thinks they arn't perfect

Also, Dragon Warrior is a RPG, much like final fantasy, for the NES.

ok, lets put it this way, i wanted a shark pokemon, so i drew 1  without having to look at others, i dd the same with all of them. so no i dodnt copy other pokemon. so they are origanal

Regardless if your concept behind each one you made came out of your head, they are Pokémon.  You didn't come up with the Pokémon concept, and therefore these are not original.

End of story.

Also, since you asked what people think, you should accept what comes your way regardless of the critique's connotation.  That means you take the good with the bad.

I call him Tankzoid.  Is it drawn well?  No?  Could it be better?  With a lot of work, it is possible.  Is it original?  Let me look to see if it's based off another pokemon, or anything for that matter.  Hmm, a tank?  Well, there's not tank pokemon.  At least not one as awesome as this.
