background turns up in battles

Hello world.

fairly new to rm2k3 but just started using the battle character generator. The picture's background is green. I imported the picture via resource management. Then I went to Battle Anim. 2 and used it, and a green square smaller than the window appeared with the character inside looking kinda washed out. When I run a battle test, the character is there, but the green square is appearing with the sprite.

How do I fix this?

When you are importing it and a picture of the battlechar pops up, click on the green background first, to set it as the transparent color.
