Maybe Im living in the dark here...

But NEVER do I recall ANY of my friends EVER quoting MARIO.

When was the last time you had a friend say to you "It'sa me, Mario"

HONESTLY, WHEN?!?

Zero wing at least had that whole "All your base" thing.

Mario. Pfft.

No kidding.
No one ever quotes that 'It's a me, Mario' line. At all.
But the all your base thing was everywhere for like 5 YEARS.

I hear "here we go" sometimes, but not often.

However, I would say hands down that Mario is the most often hummed music, probally next to Zelda.

The "Objection!" line is pretty common.

Well, around where I am at least, the most quoted games are Halo 2, Gears of War, and Oblivion. I hear "I need a weapon" every day at least twice!

+3 respect.

Not a single person in my school knows the dungeon or underwater songs to SMB1.

Just the ground level song.  *spamlas* Calling themselves true fans and whatnot. They begin humming the on song during study hall when they see me play on my Zodiac. (It's allowed in school as long as the sound is turned off and I only play it at study hall, lunch, and homeroom. :D) they even hum the song when I'm playing an underground or underwater level. It's rediculous!

I don't ever recall Halo or Halo 2 ever being quoted -- ever.

I have to disagree here. A friend of mine and I are two very large Mario fans (I can hum almost every theme for the whole main and rpg series... I'm such a geek... Don't believe it, try me.) and allot of the time we just sit there an imitate ol' Mart.

-His jumping grunts.
-"Mama-Mia!"
-"Here we go!"
- Luigi and Wario Grunts.
-"Beeeebies!"
-"Martio!" "Wheegi!"
-Donkey Kong grunts (The stupid ones from Mario Party "Oooh eh, oooh eh!"
-"A boota da batta de bato!" "Ohkey!" (Super star saga."
-"It's-a Me, Mar-dio!"

And often more..

We also like to make Link Grunts..
