Totally correct. People need to calm down and wait for things to be done for once instead of trying to solve the problem themselves. "This place is sh*t, I'm leaving" might make you sound like a bad dude, but it really doesn't help the argument.

I agree with you...But Is having more mods the answer? I of course, am not a mod, and dont accuratly know how much work is involved here...But wouldn't  fewer mods, with more dedication...no...devotion....no... intrest be better?

I mean, not to call down prior mods....But Mods adverting swear filters, and Mods that hold grudges, or say....nuke forum gaming out of boredom....adding more of them seems silly. Counter productive as it were.

Im patient. Im not in a hurry for the updates. I can wait...

But in the meantime...

The Staff/Mods/Admin thing is pretty up-in-the-air right now. Its a bit of wally world.

Seriously though....Mid, are you still an Active Mod? Or does it just say that? I know you left....but you're apperantly back...And Sai is of course gone...From what Ive gathered, Razor and Osmose are acting admins....But is that just a title? Is that official?

Who is replacing who? Who is still an active mod and who isn't?
Are more mods being appointed, or are the current ones going to pick up the slack?

I dunno. Whatever. Im gonna go to gaia and flame somebody for no reason.

MM, if you're gonna whine and complain and generally talk smack, could you at least use English words?

'Twould be great. Thanks.

And for the record, those sarcasm tags that I suggested look great on you. Suits you sir.

And you said you were gone last time. So go. Don't hang around here to flame everyone who moves out of line.

(Btw, Lucas, you sure that "less than 30 active members" thing is accurate? Sounds very small to me.)

I completely agree.  I mean, if someone new does post a request on the first post, then they should be told nicely to please introduce themselves in the welcome thread. Even to actually fulfill the request and also tell them to introduce themselves, nicely, may keep people here.

I think we should start a thread in the All of All! talking about things we should do to try and keep people here and keep them coming, and how to improve charas now (not the charas 3.0).  Because I think this topic is beginning to begin something like that.

Never really liked the dude, but I never really hated him, either. I won't miss you, but it sure will be different (in what I guess can be considered a bad way) without you.

This problem can be easily fixed: Remove the colored names from members that are not mods. :D

No, I'm serious. As much as it was cool as an award thing for you guys, non mods should only have their colored names for a certain amount of time, like a month or something. I brought this up with Sai when the whole colored names as rewards was made. He agreed with me, but I guess nothing was ever done about it. Besides, the majority of active members have colored names now, so if it's a reward for some kind of contest, who's gonna bother?

Yeah, whatever you gotta do.

I like my name coloured and all....

But seriously....

I think also CLARIFYING who is and is not a mod help. Also, if one is not a CURRENTLY ACTIVE mod, to have them NOT SHOW UP AS THE MODERATOR in the forums page.

Mods should have some sort of identifier that has nothing to do with the colour of their name.  Like a star next to their posts or something.  Like, now it's hard to tell who is a mod (if you don't bother paying attention to elections/appointings) since everyone, including mods, seems to have a funky colour.

It seems that everyone has forgotten about this page, reachable from the forum main page.

Darkfox, Robotam, and Sai are honorable mods - they do not have jurisdiction but have the experience and mindset that helps us make decisions in the Private Forum. Dekoffie, GPI, Grandragora, and SMB are inactive but are huge figures in the development and history of Charas that we have no reason to de-mod them at the time, especially since the forums they preside over rarely see any activity.

Razor and I are Ubermins (Also known as Head Admins). We have the power to basically do what we want within limits set by Alex (Limits which, when the new server is finished being set up, will be greatly reduced as we will have access to the forum code. However, we still have to and have no wish not to respect his guidelines such as no porno, swear filter for our younger members, etc.). We discuss with each other and make decisions with input from each other as well as the rest of the mod team.

Ace, FFL, Dragonblaze, and Mid are mods of separate forums. And that's about it right now. Much of the appointments that could be made are on hold for Charas 3.0, but we may decide to start now to get things rolling, considering that it may be awhile due to Alex's personal life.

ZeroKirby has a colored name because he is a Generators Manager(As am I, although I appointed him in anticipation of being busy with 3.0). Warxe I believe still has Complete Resources uploader access, as does Darkfox (And maybe a few others, I was never quite sure who was left for that).

Fairwell: Were'nt that much of an ***....

Does'nt sound like your coming back either so...later! And stop wasting hours of your life...

Off topic: I dont see a lack of modship as it is...theres enough to take care of the active members...but then again if more keep resigning...

Why is the argument always abotu what's 'wrong' with charas. Charas is what it is, it's going to change eventually. You can't expect everything to stay the same. Maybe you don't like it as it is now, and wished it was back to the way it was in the old days, but that'll never happen. Never. So yeah, maybe I'm jerk or a jackass, but I'm sure as hell not the first person to use offensive language to make a point, so don't pull that one on me.

So, toning things down a bit. If Mr. Mister wants to leave, let him. And I may think you're an *** but you're not an idiot and were a good mod.

All mods should have orange and admins should have yellow.

WOW. I just solved the "color=mod or not-mod?" dispute.

EDIT: And why the hell does Warxe still have a colored name? He's not a mod, and he didn't win a contest. If you guys are going to complain about name colors, at least start with the people that didn't even earn them.
