Error message
« on: May 07, 2007, 09:12:45 PM »
Hey...ive been working real hard on my game in Rpg Maker 2003.

But today all of a sudden when I run my game, I get this error message:

EDIT: Heres another error message I got:

"A violation in 723310D2 occured at 723310D2 with Read."

I tried restarting my computer, re-installing Rpg maker 2003, and neither of them worked.  My game wont open now.

I also made a new game file to see if that worked, but nope.  No matter what, no game will open.

Anyone know how to fix it?  I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

If that dosent work, Delete it. Re-download. Try again.

I ran into the same error once before.

And there was nothing I could do, but I still tried everything. You're probally best off saying goodbye to your current project. Sorry buddy, I know it can be rough.

well, actually i have everything saved (like chipsets, chars, etc.) into a folder.

so basically when i get it working i'll just re-add it in the game.

That's the worst error I have ever encountered, it's the reason I quit using RM2K3 years ago. I pray every day that I don't see it again on my current project... Sorry man, I think that project is junked now. I know exactly how you feel.

Take an RPG_RT.EXE File from another game, copy it from the newly made game to your ruined game. That will fix it, I think...

that wont work because all of my games do that.

right now its fixed, it just...started working again.

but if it does that again, doing the rpg_rt thing wont help because all games will be messed up like that.
