We could give awards based on how much you'd submitted (Bronze, silver, gold, or something)

You were talking about awards before. I think the drunkduck award system is a lot of fun and fairly simple. You have an award section in your profile (not included by the side of each post) and awards appear there as you achieve certain things. Members can click on your avatar and get transported to your profile and see how many awards you've got.

^I think flashy images as prizes are superficial, as long as people get recognition for their work they should be happy enough. But, since not everyone thinks like me, that sounds like a good idea.
