So what do you think is under Double D's hat?
« on: June 12, 2007, 01:00:24 AM »
Well, I've been thinking about it, and I have come to a conclusion.

I am pretty sure he's got something like long straight black hair.  Or wavy at least.  But something swave and sexy.  Lol.  I came to this discovery in the episode where all the kids break all the rules and do whatever they want.  When Ed and Eddy tie Edd's hat to the ceiling fan, you can see part of his hair popping out the back.  They're like black curls, but the kind you would see when someone with wavy hair grows it out.

Anyways, this is what I think.  Any other (non-stupid and off topic) thoughts?

Something akin to Clouds Hairdo from FF7.

I believe something that may not of crossed your minds. I think that Double Dee has dreadlocks. You know, like Otto from Rocket Power?

Mostly because I know someone that came to visit and they wore a hat similar to his whenever he went out. And sometimes he even wore pantyhose on his head! Seriously! Mostly because he couldn't get the dreadlocks wet so he wore it in the shower (you can't get them wet in the first couple months you have them then afterwards you can) but maybe Double Dee (in "Stop, Look n' Ed") wanted to get outside pretty fast and that was the first thing he could grab. Also, in that episode, his hat comes off and if he had dreadlocks it would make sense to Ed and Eddy's expressions.

But why would Edd get dreadlocks in the first place? Well there are many reseaons... but some may not be like Edd. Well you never know-when Edd moved to Peach Creek, maybe he was from California before he moved there, and their pretty popular there so maybe he decided to get them. And just wore the hat over them for a while and then about a month and a half later they couldn't come out because they were in for a long time and the only way he could get them out would be to shave his head. So he could of just decided to wear his hat for a long time and when his hair grew they got all messed up to much to wear without his hat so he just stuck with it. And some people say it can't be because his hair is kind of spiky at the ends, but at some points they are round-ish and sometimes dreadlocks can be a little spiky looking. So this is what I believe thats under his hat.

Under his cap? I'd think it's his head. :p

Seriously, I've always thought he had messy eternal bed head with a crazy cowlick that he just can't tame. Nothing too drastic, but uncharacteristic enough to be a thing of scorn and embarrassment by my favorite Ed.

Why he is so bald?

Also, I like Black Massacre's idea, though Linkforce has a point. It's all very interesting.

Most likely however they'll never reveal it.

Maybe it's his skull....
No, really, I think it's something more or less like Cloud's hair plus something like my hair when I grow it out, in other words a black, curly mess.....

How does that explain my want for them, then? Has my IQ dipped to a location just south of genius? Am I within the promiscuous range of normality? Has my precocious personal gathering of knowledge gone unrewarded, but yet, punished by constant exposure to the default mind?

Quite loquacious, sir. Very elegant, yet not so sophisticated as to be blasphemous to those of lower intellect, however perplexed they may be by your prodigious use of our language... I salute you!

Damn, thank god for thesauruses! :D
