Old Obscure Cartoons.
« on: June 17, 2007, 10:28:43 PM »
The idea is simple. Post the title, and maybe a screenshot/link to a youtube video of a show you used to watch as a kid.

I caught my little brother watching this one, "Adventures in Wonderland." XD

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8eyTkt-6Lk

When I was a kid, I used to watch the humanoid-animal shows like Ninja Turtles and "The Swat Kats." After a while, I remembered this one, "The C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa."

Try to keep them obscure. This should be interesting.

Well, it was obscure for a while, not sure if it still is, but I used to watch that really corny "Challenge of the Super Friends." i mean, the name should tell you a lot about it. Mostly, I watched it to laugh at the lame plots such as "Oh no! These two old men are using magical water to control plants and steal air conditioners! Let's kick their asses back to 1924!" and others.

I watched a cartoon called Mummies Alive when I was little, but I don't remember much about it. I think they fought crime or something.

EDIT: Youtube intro get!

I remember that show. It was like TMNT but with mummies. It was pretty weird.

The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog - Slowwww Going.

Not sure if you'd consider this obscure, but it was something I used to watch, and I actually have this particular episode on VHS.

I can't do Youtube right now, but..... I'm a Darkwing Duck junkie to this day. When I was little, though, I liked Princess Guinevere and the Jewel Riders. Why? Because I'm a girl, I guess.

Samurai Pizza Cats was obscured... abit. And so was Conan. Oh and Captain Tsubasa (or "Los Super Campeones" for who live/d in central-south america and might've watched it)

If there's something else I watch constently was TMNT, but I dont reeally consider that obscured. They were damn famous.

Mummies Alive was awesome, although I don't remember a thing about the show (except for transformation scenes of some sort - weren't they CGI?)

Also, ReBoot. Not quite obscure, though a lot of non-Canadians might not have heard of it.

How could I forget the show that made me stop hating cartoons when I was thirteen? I used to watch it but then RPG maker consumed my semblance of free time. Great show though.

Samurai Pizza Cats for sure. It seems almost no-one knows that show anymore...

TMNT of course
I remember Mummies Alive too
DarkWing Duck obviously
And Reboot at one point was my favourite show...

 :o That looks amazingly bad-ass!

As for Reboot, that just never really clicked with me. I watched a lot of it, but none of it stayed in my memory. And even less of it makes me want to rewatch it. Lots of other people seemed to like it, though.
