Which should I try? (Need help alot)
« on: August 09, 2007, 09:41:10 PM »
I am thinking of making a fan made Sailor Moon game for a while.

I have tried both RPG Maker XP
And 2003 (or the 2000 can't remember)

It was just really hard for me. But, I am in the creative mood so. Which one is easier to make a game in?

Also misc. question.

I have tried the chara maker. But I don't see how some of you guys get such great characters. Do you just edit them in a program or what?

For ease, go with 2k3, I say.
But some people will tell you different things.

Most of the nicer sprites you see are either custom or heavily edited.
For Sailor Moon, go with 2k3. You may want to look for sprites from Another Story, the SM RPG. Check Spriter's Resource (for the SNES) or even scrounge at the few remaining Sailor Moon sites. For ease, as well, this would be the better choice. Good luck being creative and such.
