« on: October 17, 2007, 01:30:47 AM »

Laddddeeeeeeez and gentelmeeennn! Boba Fettuccini presents his new webcomic, Stranger than Science Fiction!

This is the pilot, of sorts. I will slowly but surely make the first 10 pages or so, and then after that, if people like it I will continue.

Stay tuned for the next page!

BTW folks, the first portion is going to be pretty serious. But I have some funny stuff for it later on :)

It's actually kinda pretty. Where did the 3D come from? Google Sketchup?

1. Main Theme - 2001 A Space Odyssey
2. Not bad. Art could be a little better but it's fine. The real bad part...
3. ...is the paneling. It was difficult to figure out the panel order and there were little to no guides on what was and what wasn't a panel. I think you should look up some tutorials on how to panel comics better, or at least give them clear-er outlines.

yeah, I know I'm pretty bad at panelling. My mind works rather jumbledly, and thus my panelling too. On my next I make make ach panel an individual image.

And the 3d is actually made with this nifty lil program called metasequioa.

And so i guess Osmose gets a cameo :p What is your preferred physical appearance?

Nice one. It actually looks like you're using something a lot like serif drawplus for this, looking at the gradients used and stuff. What do you use?

Keep it up.

Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9. has a lot of the Serif Drawpuls type tools, but they're a little more intuitive.

Or, you could edit the previous posts to see what I did to make it display properly - right clicking is annoying and will draw people away.
