HELP!

Ive searched the forum and I couldn't really find anything. This is an error ive only come across once. Any game im testing (or playing for that matter) on rm2k3 just freezes after around 2 minutes. No matter if its the beggining of a game or a saved game or whatever. Ive tried reinstaling 2k3 lots of times but it just dosen't do the job. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Or does anyone know how to fix it? It's really annoying as I can't even test my own game out let alone anyone elses.

I don't know if this is helpful, but ur computer might be the problem. What are it's specs?

If it only freezes with one game, or if it only freezes at a certain spot in one game, then its a game related problem. It could mean that you have a parallel process event in the common events that just take up too much resources, and after two minutes, freezes. If this happens at one spot in the game, then it could be a parallel event on a map. IF this is only for one game, and you know that there are no parallel or autostart events lagging up your system, it is possible that your game is corrupt, and you need to replace the rpg_rt.exe file in your project.

If this is happening for every game, the problem may be related to rpg maker, and reinstalling it (possibly with a new version) may help. Most likely though, there is something else wrong with your computer. Open your task manager when your game freezes, and then go to processes, and see if there is any process taking up a lot of CPU, if there is, then you just have a process (probably a virus or spyware) lagging down your computer. Once you get rid of that process, everything on your computer should run better.
