The past few weeks I've been hooked on the Shadow of the Colossus OST. It has everything. It has peaceful little pieces that you have to listen to over and over, and then it has these soaring heroic tracks that make you feel like a superhero. It's absolutely fantastic.

Anyone else got any videogame OST's to recommend?

Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger are probably my favorites. Especially CC, loooove its soundtrack.
In fact, I might as well put this here cuz it's amazing.

Meh.  The only song I heard from Chrono Trigger was Chrono's theme.  Given I LOVE it xD

Might I also add that the FFVIII OST is fantastic. The Landing/Attack on Dollet is freaking sweet.

Mt. Tamaranch from Link's Awakening is a pretty amazing track.  I liked it so much I ripped it myself.

Star Ocean 3 had a pretty good soundtrack. I like the Phantasy star 2 music too XD And Rayman... I don't listen to videogame music apart from when I'm playing the game though.

You've got great taste.

My favorites are Lost Odyssey, FF6, FFTactics, and Vagrant Story.

There's actually a really incredible concept album by the Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross guy called KiRite. (The R is actually backwards.) It's ****ing beautiful...

Anything composed by Nobou Uematsu, which is a givin.

I really like the Paper Mario Soundtracks, mostly due to their boss themes, which are outstanding. (Not so much for Super Paper Mario, different composer.)

I like the main theme chosen for all the Sonic Adventure games, and Sonic CD, and all the music period for Sonic 1-Knuckles.

I agree with the Star Ocean 3 statement. (Whistles Highbrow.)

Kingdom Hearts for a plethora of reasons has a memorable soundtrack, because of nostalgic reasons and the good boss themes.

Breath of Fire has a lot of great boss themes, I'm particularly fond of IV's Final Boss's first form. FOU-LOH FOU-LOH OH-BOY! (I can't remember how to spell his name.)
