I will spend all my government funding frivolously. Also, tax increases everywhere.

Or you folks can experience the plague...

Vore for me? Why?
Because I would never abuse power and I'm the excellent choice if you don't want any of the others to win.

What do I get by making Purple the mayor you ask?

Well it's really simple. Purple is a quite famous spriter and actually knows quite a lot about coding.
And believe it or not! He can even make animations for ya and defend you in any arguments that might pop up!

All those services will be given to those who vote Purple since he appreciates any help he can get and is more than happy to return that favour.

Why shouldn't I vote for the others then?

It's simple: They lack spriting skills and the colour purple(except Ed but he is too lazy).

Not interested... What else?

You will be given an option to play various games that the Purple one is making before it ever reaches charas!
I will fight you in brawl when I get my hands on it(1 month 26 days).
You will be asked to be in the Purple one's games in one way or the other.

Vote Purple!
Cuz' it's a mix of blue and red!

So this is what happens after I'm gone for a while.

Phayre has my vote.  ;)

Question to the candidates: What will you do as Mayor? Like, seriously? What is your intent?

Unlike everyone else, I've already posted some of my ideas. Better organization, more effective stickies, second chance for banned people. And since I don't *actually* have modship, I can't nuke any forums. ;)

I think mudslinging, while enjoyable, is getting us nowhere. We need to actually get our platforms going and garnering votes. Right now, this is just 5 pages of us insulting each other, which is no different than any other thread.

Right, what I mentioned before. I'll offer an impartial opinion regarding subject matter that will directly affect the forum. Instead of fooling people with a charismatic facade, I'll weigh all situations, being sure to research both public opinion and moral correctness before making a decision. I don't know if the whole "no propaganda" thing will go over well, but I don't want to waste anyone's time.

I'll also admit my flaws. Right now. I may tend to be too soft on some things, swaying in different directions in my opinion as to not be offensive or confrontational. However, I can confirm with this position, I will help lay down and protect the law of the forum and deal with gray matters fairly.

Thank you.

If elected, I will donate good ideas to Charas; things to make Charas better, not just prettier. I'll offer a balanced opinion on decisions. I have some experience with such positions, which I can put to good use and start helping out straight away rather than spending weeks getting to grips with the situation. I'm active; I'll usually be on here for a few hours every day, so I'm probably not going to miss anything important.

I'd just like to add, we're all joking about with the mudslinging. Saying "mudslinging is bad and not helping" so you look more mature is not helping your case.

</scathinginsight>

So, vote for me. You won't regret it.

If I'm elected... well, I don't promisse anything. I'll do my best, and I'll try to serve the best interest of the forum in general, but don't expect much, even because school is taking most my time.

Uhh... Bluhman was assassinated and thus can't run in the election.

(But really, what WOULD I do with the mayorship of Charas anyway?  :| )

Lilsniffs assassinated Bluhman and was put into "Youcantbecomecharaspresidentcauseyouareinjail" Jail.

I vote for Phayre. Vanilla Coke taste good. Without the coke part. And replace vanilla with chocolate. (Chocolate Coca-Cola actually sounds good.)

Well, I'm too far behind [STRIKE]Hillary[/STRIKE] Phayre to win, so I may have to withdraw. Besides, what I could do that hasn't already been done is quite the mystery.

I still feel like slinging mud, though. Who knows what may happen?

If you were elected, and were say, offered a lucrative bribe from another forum member to perform an action that either did not meet the forum rules, or went against you own personal ethics, How would you deal with the situation.

If you were elected, and for instance, were pressured to perform sexual acts for the administrative staff, as a means to further your position, what would your reaction be

A group of internet drug smugglers offer a hefty bit of compensation, and in return, you must launder money though charas....youre reaction?

Forum Gaming is Nuked, and all sources point to a good friend within the forums. In having a position of quasi Authority, how do you Handle this?

I would tell them to GTFO.

Depends on who the "administrative staff" is. If it was Mid or Sai... maybe.

Hell no. Sure, laundering money is profitable, but eventually you'll get caught... and then you'll regret doing it.

I have a policy of "If I see it, I believe it". If there were compelling reasons as to why this person did such an act, I would have no choice but to go with it.

I would decline. I would then attempt to change the terms of the bribe so it was for something completely not-Charas-related/not-ethically-questionable.

What, you wanted honesty.

All of the staff or just Jim?

I would tell them to bugger off somewhere else. No money laundering on my Charas, arseheads. Besides Charas is not at all profitable so any profit I'd stand to gain wouldn't be worth the villainy and deceit and such.

Firstly I'd ask the person about it. It couldn't hurt too much to try and get them to admit to doing it. If not, I'd work with the administrative staff to think of a solution. This is only a semi-powerful position so to storm about like I own the place giving everyone orders would be ridiculous. No point getting above my station.

Everyone vote Dragonium. Phayre doesn't have vanilla coke. She only has crabs. And not the crustacean-y kind.
