 I liked how on Final Fantasy 7 you use materia and stuff. You reall had to wrk hard to get all those spells learned. Which goes along with being one of the most challenging final fantasy games. Which I like challenges.

Final Fantasy Tactics had the best story. You could easily make a bestselling book out of this game's script. It's even better now that it has a new translation.

Final fnatasy XII is the worst final fantasy released. It was simply FFXI but not online.
It totally slaughtered everything that Final fnatasy stood for and made it into a total mindless and dumb game where you simply put gambits and the characters could clear the entire game´on thier own.

Final fantasy XII is a disgrace in every way to the series.
Magics doesn't have their original names, lots of spells are removes, most summons are gone and that sorry excuse for a battle system.
75% of the game is running through ****ing plains and deserts! Final fantasy should be dungeons! The closest thing to a dungeon you get is that cave with the dragon,  the draklor laberatory and the rhidorana cataract! All that sucked and was so boring that I barely went back to finsih those hunts.

And what else? The bosses! Oh **** those bosse. Finaf ****ing fantasy xii got the worst ****ing bosses ever. You fight a dragon, now you fight another dragon, here comes a golem thingy, and there's a esper, and now it's a judge.
95% of the bosses in FFXII didn't even have something to do with the storyline, they were random strong monsters. You know what that is?

Members here on charas understand that bosses needs to have something to do with the game. Sai Kar even wrote that in her "boss guide and tips" in the tutorial section.
We know that random bosses are not the way to go; sure we accept them for the heck of it in the old games but you gotta have them somewhat logical.
How fun is it to fight 2 dragons in a row? One in a cave that does some sweet damage. And then when you get out of that cave and watch the cutscenes, head through the forest there is another one.
Same model and everything! Differnece? It is covered in moss instead and can use some mass-bad breath spell.

What else? Final fantasy XII killed everything that is called character development and storyline.
None of it exists in FF XII, it's the most boring RPG I've ever played.
Seriously, FF 1,2,3 had more story than FFXII.
Everything about FFXII is stupid. WHO THE ****!? puts a goddamned dungeon with 100 floors near the end of the game for the heck of it?

Final fantasy is so boring and lame that I'm the only one out of 5 hardcore Final fantasy players that even bothered clearing the game.

And how did I do that?
Assigned my gambits at the beginning of the last battle.
Got bored, went downstairs and made food.
Came back 5min later and the boss was still alive....
Then he died after 5min or so.

Final fantasy XII is worse than FFI it is worse than friggin FFX-2! At least X-2 had a good battle system and not some MMORPG piece of crap that should be thrown into a friggin fire.

Oh right, I'll vote FFIX, it had everything a game need. Long story(it even have a story unlike FFXII l'e gasp!), good characters, fun bosses, well-thought dungeons and some real gameplay that kept you entertained.

Down with FFXII and slap Square for that piece of ****

I like FF6 (US3) the most.
best storyline IMO, and definitely best boss fight.
espers were new at that point, pretty cool.
favorite character has to be Sabin or Shadow.
