Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Rips and splices

Knight: Archer, Pikeman, Swordsman, Cavalier, Paladin

Barbarian: Goblin, Orc, Wolf, Ogre, Troll, Cyclops

Sorceress: Sprite, Dwarf, Elf, Druid, Unicorn, Phoenix

Wizard: Halfling, Boar, Iron Golem, Roc, Mage, Giant

Warlock: Centaur, Gargoyle, Griffin, Minotaur, Hydra, Green Dragon

Necromancer: Skeleton, Zombie, Mummy, Vampire, Lich, Bone Dragon.

Sorry about forgetting peasants with Knights.  In reality, I consider them a neutral monster so it's just as well XD

Hope you like them, next is the upgraded units, then neutral (and peasant), then splices. 8D

I do take requests.

And to any one who doesn't believe I ripped these, I spent the last 3-4 hours ripping all of these because I could only find JPG versions of the sprite sheets.  Again, hope you guys like them and, at the least, find some use for them, upgraded units should come soon.

I kinda like how the factions have changed during the years. Like the orcs in this game was united but was split in H4.  And then the "dungeon" is just amazing, centaurs, gorgoyles, griffins, minotaurs, hydra and green dragon?

Centaurs became a part of the "hippies" in H3, gogoyles became a part of the "magicians", griffins joined the "humans", minotaurs stayed, hydras went over to "fortress" and got lizardmen together and the green dragon joined the hippies as well.

Centaurs became a part of the "barbarians" in H4, Gorgoyles became undead neutrals, Griffins joined the hippies, minotaurs stayed once more, hydras came back and the green dragon dissappeared.

How about H5? Centaurs is still barbarians, gorgoyles went back to the "academy", griffins joined the humans again, minotaurs became slaves, hydras remained as they were in H4 and the Green dragons joined the hippies once more.

Dungeon mostly consists of dark elves in H5, where the only non-darkelfish units are the minotaurs, hydras and black dragon.

I like 'em, but where are the uppgrades?

Dude, it was 3 hours spent ripping these, I'll work on the upgrades 'at some point' XD  Particularly when I'm not busy splicing for any and all (which, at some point I WILL have one) games I'll use these monsters for.  Expect them done by tomorrow night, hopefully.  And that's if I'm NOT busy playing HoMM2 itself.

As far as the factions go, I liked the Warlock monsters in 1 and 2.  They had that weird swampy... sorta thing.  Now they're giant subterrainean brain monsters. O.o

That's why they made fortres in H3, to keep that swamp faction.
It was shoved together with Dungeon(warlock) in H4 and then completely dissappeared in H5. Only the Hydra remains.

Indeed it is.  The upgraded knight units are ripped but will only be given upon request until all of the upgraded units are done.

It's not quite as easy as I though it'd be to rerip the monsters (I planned on making a 'stencil' around the original rips and then just laying that over top of the upgraded monsters but that didn't go too well) but the hardest part, regardless is over.  Expect some red and black dragons, orcs, druids, and other fun stuff by tonight.

Unless I'm busy playing the game or some other thing the neutral monsters (and peasant) will be done tonight.

Ranger, Veteran Pikeman, Master Swordsman, Champion, Crusader,

Orc Chieftain, Ogre Lord, War Troll

Battle Dwarf, Grand Elf, Greater Druid,

Steel Golem, Archmage, Titan

Minotaur King, Red Dragon, Black Dragon

Mutant Zombie, Royal Mummy, Vampire Lord, Power Lich

The blank spaces are not missing monsters, they're spots left open because the original monsters don't have upgrades.  Don't credit me, credit 3DO or New World Computing, and at the very least, enjoy.
