Other game makers
« on: June 06, 2009, 01:36:34 PM »
I was looking around the internet for a ABS (action battle system)(like zelda) game maker or a tactical/stradegic game maker (like fire emblem, ff tactics, blue dragon plus).  I was unsuccessful in my search but if anyone could or has found one it would be appreaited.

Game maker, dude.  You could probably get just about anything out of that.  Though, since I don't know where the official website is,  I can't give a link.  Just Google it or something.

I have rpg maker 2k3 and have good understanding with it, (Except variables).  That would be what i would need to do those things.  I  aslo have Blender but its far too complicated to actually get anything done with that.

Yeah...learn variables in 2k3, then get Game Maker
You'll pick it up fast, with your new found knowledge in variables, and like Emerates said, you can make damn near anything out of it
Other than that, I don't really think there is a Strategy Game Maker
