Somebody who obviously is just kidding at the assumption that there are no good cartoons these days.
*points towards Chowder, Phineas and Ferb *slightly*, *...
Alright, maybe not TODAY, but there are some awesome cartoons since the 80's.

Such as Avatar, Danny Phantom, Ben 10 (seriously, it's enjoyable (knows he's gonna get flamed)), the Teen Titans show, and a couple others that I can't think of.

NOTE: IN CASE YOU (meaning anyone) DISAGREE WITH ME, DEAL WITH IT. IT'S AN OPINION, AND IT'S NOT GOING TO BE CHANGED BY YOU YELLING AT ME.

I agree. Those shows are pretty good. Though, I like P&F, but that's just me. I always liked Avatar, wasn't into Ben 10 much (but didn't seem bad) and I liked TT. But then again... those shows are finished. But when I say that cartoons are bad now adays, I mean most of the CN lineup. These canadian shows are awful. Johnny Test looks like a cardboard cut out and I don't even know what to think of The League of Super Evil.

So, when I speak of cartoons negatively, I usually mean the CN lineup.

Cartoon Network has been going to **** ever since they replaced Fridays with those live action dweebs.
That and the um...Flicks? I think they're called.

Yeah, I remember when CN started showing live movies. I was like o.O
Then I didn't mind for a bit, because the good shows were on.
AND THEN THEY CANCELED THEM.
And I was pissed.
So I only watched it when they ran reruns (like Courage), or the few good shows that were on, like Fosters.
And then that vanished...

Also, whoever thought "Total Drama ____" was a good idea should be shot.
Ugh...even my Disney Channelophile little sister thinks that show sucks.

Random: Channelophile is in the Google Chrome dictionary.

Tom Mcgills is one of the biggest insults to animation and writing.

I miss the old shows as well. Some people (the ones who rave over the newer) say that Nostalgia plays a more major factor than anything else, but I disagree. I find myself back tracking to the 70's, 60's, 50's and so and find shows with much better writing than what's on TV now.

The other thing is, because most modern day cartoons are flash, it's harder to laugh at them. You can't find any animation errors to laugh because they're a bunch of moving segments. They're pretty much made in pieces so they can avoid the trouble of traditional animation. And that sucks. Now only do you get stale writing, but you get stale animation.
