my game is a very wierd game. on the surface it is an interestingt rpg about rpgs...sortof. its a DnD FF crossover...but overtly with ony the themes crossing, not characters.

the plots is as follows. Your main character is a dungeon master for a roleplaying game group....a really crazy group who never stays focused, which frustrates him....anyway somehow hee will end up getting trapped in his own RPG campaign world....
(cant decide how to do that and not be cliche')
he tries to get home, nd ends up meeting the characters of the rpg group, but they have no idea that they are only rpg characters...they believe there world to be real, and the Main character begins to believe it is too, but wants to escape and get home....anyway, he discovers that new ppl have been appearing in this world form nowhere and are having problems similar to his....he ends up figuring out alot about himself, his campaign and the villan is an illithid( a psionic squid-faced-man)...

CHARACTERS

Name:David Chimera
Class:Artificer (and dungeon master)
Description:hes your main guy, trapped in this strange world, far from home. hes a dork. has asthma, tons of allergies, and thinks hes smarter than everybody.
Resources needed:im trying to do the battle char, i have no faces,weapons or weapon ideas for an artificer, no walking charas no poses....pretty much nothing.

Name: Aldinove
Class: Black mage.
Description: a classic final fantasy character...but he wears armor and carries a scythe..,.think vivi on steroids...but hes actually a really big softie....has attitude problem, but is scared of cats...so it balences out.
Resources needed: i need facesets...megabad....expressions especially....and a set of scythes would be nice.

Class: white mage.
Description: shes gonna be like a big tree hugging overly emotional healer...shes cool, using maces and hammers to supplement her magic and low hp.
Resources needed: i need hammers...maces...and a name.

Class: Red mage
Description: gonna be the overly wise guru coolguy...hell know alot about the world and be a well balanced jack of all trades...also my most intellectual character and friend of main character
Resources needed: weapons...dont know what hes gonna use...need facesets edited and walking grafics recolored

Name: Jade
Class: Blackbelt/ ranger
Description: shes feisty and sarcastic, as well as determined...shes interesting tho, because she uses her bow as well as her fists....
Resources needed: she needs faces...walking grafics...and thats all...

Name: John Smash
Class: Fighter
Description: basically kills anything he deems evil(evil=alive) and it totally stupid....trips al the traps, pisses off all the bosses, and opens doors with his sword.
Resources needed: nothing.(thanks araloth)

Name: Rahajae
Class: Theif
Description: a dark skinned elf ...quiet, reserved, and coldblooded. does what needs to be done with unnerving ease....
Resources needed:walking chara and facesets....

SECRET CHARACTERS

Name: Itora
Class: rogue
Description: cleptomaniac halfling with no idea what "his" or "hers" means, but knows the word "mine" all to well...it describes everything. halfwitted and quick moving, he has alot in common with fighter...except size.
Resources needed: battle chara....want it to be  smaller, but to jump when he attacks, so he can use rtp weapons... :p

Class: Moogle... :p
Description: a little mog who i have yet to decide what does.
Resources needed: facesets and ideas for character

Name: Richt
Class: Ranger/Scadow scout
Description: hes a very cool ranger, hunter...uses whips and crossbows...
Resources needed: faceets... but mainly a good set of whips and crossbows. as well as a  battle char  grafic for using crossbow.

cool, mabye you can make him buy a new book for the game that has a lock on it and when he opens it up, the pages rip out and bam! welcmome to the land of whatever the game is.

i like it....any ideas on what weapons an artificer would use?

also...Cid is a centaur....i think...does this suck? he'll use spears...and be a party member...maybe end up as a traitor....

also....any ideas for side quests...

im thinking about a chocobo jousting minigame....

any airship ideas...i have few/none....

anyone have ideas for unique themed dungeons?

i have an idea for the moogle.
why not make it have the occupation Writer, and let him fight with different kind of feathers? i do that for the moogle(FliFi) in my game too.

a good idea is to, for the mogs skills, make it so that he writes spells on the enemy... that would be cool!
