Desert eagles are just a ****ing handgun everyone knows because it's in every video game ever. They're only fun to shoot until you get over the whole "Big gun" thing and realize the kick and the obscene price of ammo.

If I had them here I'd show you up with my '55 .22 Hobann and my Marlin Model Golden, then MAYBE my actual Russian Makarov. It's not a Chinese or a Polish one, an actual Russian. So damn cool.

Anyway, Not a marlin fan. As for the golden in particular, lever actions are fun, but I don't like the way they look. To be faire though, a buddy of mine owns one of these, and really likes it. Pretty accurate at 75yds, but got pretty hard to aim around 100yds. I enjoyed shooting it anyway.
Do you have the makarov PM or PMM?

I love my Marlin, but I'm real proud of the Hobann. 1955, bolt action, manual loading, manual pullback firing pin, original wood, original metal, but unfortunately I replaced the sights as the original ones were terrible. Got it out at my grandpas, had to spruce the hell out of it if you know what I mean. It was in bad shape. Worth nothing but it's just a good rifle, one of the old Boy's Life magazine type rifles haha.

Also, it's a PM. I don't know the exact year, but I do know it was before they reworked it.

I'd suggest at least trying a Makarov. They're great, but have a good kick for their size. As for the USP, I've never gotten the chance, lemme know how it goes.
