Noob Question
« on: January 07, 2005, 02:31:56 AM »
Everytime I try to import a sprite that I made on this site to RPM 2003, I get a message saying that it's an unsupported PNG image. _sweat_

Is there anyway to solve this problem?

And I apologise in advance if this sort of question has been asked before.   :jumpin:

Fine then. If people are just going to give me links (that don't answer my question) and not answers, I was wondering if I could just post the sprites and somebody (who knows what they're doing) could make them workable.

Would that work?

Open it in your favorite image editing program, and change the size to 288 X 256. Seriously, check other threads before asking this question, there are plenty of them asking these same questions.

That works. Thanks.

Edit: New problem. How do I change dimensions?

And I forewarned you, I am a TOTAL noob.

In Paint, click on "Image" at the bar at the top, then on "Attributes".

Or just put it right in your RPGmaker folder, than you don't have to import.

Thank you, everyone! All of your help is greatly appriciated.

Um... I guess since this topic is called "Noob Questions" that I should direct all of my other noob questions to this thread to save on space.

That said....How can I add more tilesets to my game? Am I stuck with the default five? I mean, I've found a bunch of custom tilesets but... I can't seem to put them into my game database...
