Actually, they refer to Zack and Cloud in the tubes as A and B, not 1 and 2.

Atma, Omega? Where'd you get those names? I would've thought the Junon Weapon's name would've been Saphhire, seeing there was Ultimate Weapon, Ruby Weapon, Emerald Weapon, and Diamond Weapon. Strangly, Ultimate Weapon was one of the weakest.

he was uber weak.  I quad-magicked bahamut ZERO,  that animation took AGES.

and the Zack #2 has been my theory all along, and that he's alive in the slums (there's a man there with indigestion or gangreen or something with a #2 tattoo)

Ok i was about to make a new topic for this but then I saw this one; I went and got Quad Magic (without a chocobo :] ) and I was wondering why all strategy guides say that it cannot be linked with Knights of Round materia...

The only theory I have on this is that if you DID use KoR with quad-magic, meteor would crash into the earth before the animation finishes

If she didn't notice it could be just like when I did the Corel Huge Materia quest in disk 2 with Barret in my party and he didn't notice that his wife is still alive!

Think about it:  A black skinned woman talks about her lost husband (!!!) and gives you _specificly_ Barret's final limit manual (!!!!!!!)  But does Barret say ANYTHING if he's in your party.....no.  Dumbass.

The Zack #2 thing has been proven false. First of all, he wasn't subjected to the same experiments as the other Sephiroth clones - he had already recieved mako/jenova treatment anyway, so that aspect wouldn't have affected him anyway. Secondly, Aeris would notice him, because Barret SEES his wife die when Corel is burned. The other woman is just a widow with a special item. Apex raised a point to me that Zack could've changed his appearence, but Aeris tells Cloud she's been caring for the man for a while, and Zack has only been dead a few days, the time it took cloud to reach the train station, meet Tifa, join up with AVALANCHE, and then get to that part in the game. And, most obviously, the soldiers hunting Zack gather around him and shoot him, like, 50 times! He's dead!

Also, you can use Quad magic with knights of the round. Actually, one of the more popular strategies on Emerald weapon before it was discovered his attack didn't do auto 9999, but instead was based on how much materia you had, was to put the Pheonix summon on as the auto-spell when the character dies, and then to link Knights of the Round with Quadra magic, and use X-Magic to use it, for a whopping 8 knights of the round. Then, simply have the other two characters in the party use mimic., 24 knights of the round for each party turns.

osmose, i thought so too until i saw that they say that it's from game FAQ's on another page.

zack and sephy prolly arn't dead because in the game it puts alot of emphasis on people with Jenova cells not being able to die easily.

I think that there is a possiblitiy it's Zack, because even if you say well, "He was shot a zillion times." There's the fact that Cloud gets shot all the time through the game AND he is of Jenova cells and all that crap, so there is a possibility he could've healed quickly or not been killed by it.

Osmose, I have a question(crosses fingers) When the cut scene shows do you ACTUALLY see Zack lying dead. I mean VISIBLY dead with blood and all the bleh... ? If not than you CAN'T be sure he's dead or not.
