in all seriousness dude, thel ag stinks, but if I had a better processor or just a better computer it'd be great. This is a great game so far, I'd give it a 9.99/10! Keep it going

Yay, 9.99/10,  :D

Anyway, I'm working on fixing the lag right now. The reason it was lagging in the town was because I had quite a few parallel process events that were triggered as soon as something happened. However, I can probably only have one parrallel process event in the city, and then when a condition is met, it will call the event that is suppose to occer at that time. That should fix everything in there. As for the battle, I have a few parrellel process events that only need to be on a split second that are running most of the battle, I can call these instead of having them as parrallel processes. That should help a bit, but the battle system still may lag in some parts. I'll try to optimise it more though to get rid of ALL the lags  :)

Glad I started to play it. I forgot what a kickass game was like.

Thingy #1 - you spelled maybe mybe or something like that when you pick up the last peice of wood for the bridge.

thingy #2 - you misspelled 'combine' (you speled it with an 'n') while explaining combo attacks.

Thingy #3 - after I try to fight right after he explains the combo thing, it  freezes. I'l try it again to see if it was just a one time thing.

Thanks :D

I found out about the maybe typo a little earlier, but glad you pointed out the other one :D

As for the freezing during the battle, try playing through it again. Sometimes the battle system acts a little funny, if you play through it again I doubt you'll have that error. I'll try to find what caused it though  :)  If you don't want to listen to that intro again, you can always go into testplay and hold down shift to make the text go really fast. That should save you a few minutes :)

WOW. *speachless for a few seconds*

An impressive CBS and CMS... nice gameplay... miniml errors... 9.5/10, I'd say... definatly one of the best RM2K/3 Games I've played in quite awhile. The only problems:

1. Every now and then, the screen lags.

2. The screen is in a constant state of lagging on big maps such as Megatown.

3. "Maybe" is mispelled numorous times.

Other than that, only a few spelling errors, and I didn't seem to find any bugs except the lag thing. Graphics and sound were awesome, too... and the savepoint's sound is just funny!

Umm, thanks, but just to let you know, I don't have a CMS  :p  Or are you talking about the menu system in the battles? Anyway, if I'd make a cms, it would basically resemble the dms, so I didn't find much of a point in making one  :|

Anyway thanks :D

Well I've heard a lot of positive feedback, but if anyone has any suggestions or negitive feedback please let me know, stuff on graphics, the story, music, gameplay (other than lags and spelling errors) ect. Allthough I love getting compliments and positive feedbacks on my game :D, it dosn't really help me make my game better  :)

Hehe, real nice, DragonBlaze, I also experienced a bit of lag, and as I told you, I could walk thru everything on the worldmap.  Did anyone else have this problem?  Being the impatient person I am, maybe it had to do with me running all the time?

And also: When I picked up the wood to go over that bridge... I could just walk right over the water... odd =/

Oh and in case I haven't said anything about this before, I would like to thank Dark Zero and Myriad Creations (http://www.myriadcreations.net) for hosting my game :)

The walking over the water part is one of the things I missed. It has something to do with the dashing script. If you push down shift as your being forced to move by an event, it will automatically stop the movement event, and most of my movement events start with a 'begin phasing mode' so if it ends prematurely, it won't stop using the phasing mode. I was able to fix this by turning the dash script off whenever an event forced you to move, but since the dash script was one of the last things I added, so there were a few events that I missed for turning the dashing script off. :(

I think I got them all fixed though now  :)

I've gotten inspirarion from this game. Very nicely made. The battle system is the only thing that's weird in there. How did you make it? And another thing: That little map in the overworld. HOW?! I'm currently working on my Diamond Soul demo, and I've gotten inspiration from this game.

Finally, someone that doesn't mention the word "lag" in his post!

...Crap. I just said it.

Yay, my game has made a real differance for someone  :D

For that map in the overworld, you can find a tutorial on how to make one at blade2k.net (in the tutorials section). The only 'hard' part is to get a picture of your world map and make to to scale. But if you take a screenshot of it in the editor without the grid on.

As for that battle system, its basically a bunch of events to run the system and algerithms to determain values for all the stats needed in a battle. As for how everything works, I'm not even gonna try to explain that here _sweat_ , if you want though i can write a tutorial that will explain the basics of how to make a custom battle sytsem  :)

Aw, I forgot to reply here. lol
You have really improved at everything I told you to improve at last time. :)
Here's the review:

Graphics:
The graphics were very nice, but in some places like in MegaTown the characters was a lot mixed up. Of course you can mix them, it's not bad, but it was a little too much mixed. I saw a guy in megatown who looked exactly like Reno (FFVII) btw. :p
And maybe the leader dragon in the dragon cave wasn't really the leader type, but that's not a big deal.
But there is something that is really impressive here and it is that you have so many cool graphics of dragonblaze and every single one is perfect that's why it's...
9/10 here.

Storyline:
I love the story, but sometimes I think it's a little simple but perhaps there will be a lot added to next time?
The characters, well there's nothing wrong with them.
I really do look forward to the other characters in the game, if there will ever be any that is.
However, the story is very good and I want you to keep it up.
8/10 here.

Mapping:
Of course, since this is probably one of my best talents at rm2k3 I will go extra hard here. ;)
The maps wasn't bad at all, but it was nothing I was really impressed by.
However, I don't think it's much of a big deal.
Some places can't look much better but some places can.
There's some secrets about how to make a map look really good, but these secrets you have to explore by yourself.
However the mapping is still very good. And I would be bad if I wouldn't give...
8/10 here.

Music and sound:
I liked the music a lot and I didn't hear any serious rips from any FF games or something.
The voices in the battles was pretty cool, I just can't  stop thinking about this one... "Burn 'em... Fire!"
So cool! XD
However I didn't hear much of Kyruto's voice, I'd really like to hear more of it.
And they where a little silent sometimes as well, not too silent but a little louder would do.
9/10

Game play:
I really did love the game play, so much added, so much fun. :)
The wood picking thing was in the first demo as well, but it's really awesome.
And the mine thing was a lot fun too, but there I think you could have made it a little more puzzle like. It was really just to press the buttons and then continue, a little simple but still fun.
And since the CBS kind of belongs to the gameplay it has to be...
9.5/10 here.

The finish score is "9/10", very good here.

Hehe, I did that on purpose, as the game progresses you will see that Zersevick is basically the one "running" the joint. I totally understand how you came up with that though :)

As for the mapping, I really don't like the town too much, so I'll probably redo a lot of that for the final version, same thing with the inside of the houses. I really don't like that town chipset either, I don't really think it matches too well with the other ones I use  :| . I'll be sure to rework them :)

Yeah you're right, I'll try to make that more like an actual puzzel, I don't know exactly how yet, but I will  :D

I'll work on improving all the otherthings that I didn't mention earlier as well  :)

Thanks agian!

Not to sound like an elitist bastard, but I did have a few problems with this game.

First, the walkspeed is way too slow. Run systems don't do anything but annoy the player. The walkspeed should be fixed.

Second, crawly text combined with autoclose text boxes are also incredibly annoying.

Third, the CBS itself is inferior to Rm2k3's DBS, is chipset based, and very, veeeeeeeeeeeeery slow. I'd suggest either moving to 2k3's DBS, or, if you've just got to have a CBS so you can brag about having a CBS, moving to RmXP.
