I read this thread really faster, so i may say something already said.
Anyhow...

What is changed on charas are users: the "cores" are always the same.
In the "old good times" there was no tons of users, and everyone (and i mean EVERYONE) who was here was here because he wanted to do, help, support, create, etc...

The forum was created just to keep in touch with all of them, beause using only my poor email address to do everything became a bit hard

But the forum is also the place where someone can express himself evenif he has no will at all to do, help, support, create, etc...
One day Charas "exploded": famous community, famous name!
That was the beginning: till then, hundreds users signed as charas members without having any idea on what charas was!

What Charas old member miss is this: a working house, where we keep the time of asking ourselves "what's your favourite pet?" while doing for the community something more than only increasing own postcount.

Many of the "glorious member" are almost unknown in the forums, just because they do not post.

I always say this: wanna know HOW forum life of Charas was?

... i think the disscusion actualy ended here. its clear to me now, and besides, i don't think anyone would know here to get the "good old times" back (or something like that) and still, charas haves a *** cool forum, if you even look at some other forums and see charas, well i think the most people would choose charas. the reason i first liked the charas forum is that everybody is so cool to eachother, and becouse there are more members now, its normal people get more on their one (i think)

why is Kairou actualy banned, he was a good editor (almost even better then me ) and i heard that he was banned becouse of just one singel (very bad) topic, so i just wanna know.

I would say things have changed. Too many people have become too confident in themselves around here. "We" have been here a long time , and "they" are newer, so it is okay to talk down to them and call them n00bs. When did it became okay practice to do this here?

To me, the heart of Charas was not the All of All. It was the request forum, where people working on games came to share ideas and help eachother out. All of All was merely a diversion, something to come to when I got burned out of requests. But now All of All is pretty much the end-all of Charas and the Request forum is  a sad joke these days. It is saddening.

lol hi saikar . never thought there would be so much people still here . youre right that requests is quiet here, but i think it is also becouse there are lot of people who talk down about new ones and stuff. noobs are mostly the ones wich wanted some requests.
but i don't realy understand why they get talked down:

this is on almost every forum a problem.
a forum grows with new people, and everyone has been once one  (i was at least:P), without new people a forum just can't grow. and why talk down? i know somethimes they say or ask the dumbest things but just ignore it or just try to help them, if they get barked they get away from a forum in less then 3 days.
why don't we make this a new disscusion?

but on this forums aren't alot of people who ask for help er lend  there help out. (first, daily requests at the [GLOW]vgrapers[/GLOW]) all the new ones who joined the forum just, ask sometimes for help. but after a week or something, they start to like it here and post topics at stuff like:.. well uhm draw yourself in manga, and everybody jumps at it. i don't think that changing that is possible, but i think that there are to less people left here realy for asking for charsets and stuff

DB2, in regards to the spammers, if you were here a month or two ago, you would've been in a vastly different Charas. One you wouldn't wanna come back to.
