Event problems
« on: February 07, 2006, 08:40:22 PM »
ok...so here's the deal.  I have an event.  Just a regular event that is linked to an Auto-start event.Meaning that when the Auto-start event ends, the regular event dissapears.  so, obviously, a switch is used to end both events.  So, in my Auto-start event, I have a switch that ends both activated.  It is the last event on the page.  But, when I go to the map where the Auto-start event is, the event doesnt start, and the normal event already dissapears.  wtf is going on?

I mhave many events like this, and they work fine.  But the new ones i'm making aren't working.   :(

make sure it's set to auto start. Sometimes I make autostart events and forget to change it from press to activate to autostart.

Other then that I don't know what to tell you

Do you have a command called "erase event" anywhere within the autostart event?

Ok well, thanks to BlackSkullWarlock, we found out that the problem was the switch itself.  It was a corrupted switch that immediatly activated regardless of whether it was turned on or not.  How this is possible....you're as lost as I am.  But I simply fixed the problem by changing the switch to the next one under.  Now everything works fine.  Thanks Meiscool for trying.  ^^'

And major Kudos to BSW....for saving my *** yet again.  XD  >.>
