City of Angels

Greetings! I figured that as a new member it would only be proper to introduce myself and my game here.

My game's current name at this time is "City of Angels" as you can see from this thread's topic. It's going to be a one of a kind game set in L.A. The main character wakes up next to a dead man and is released from confinement during a gang shooting. He becomes caught up in the struggle between crips and bloods as he spirals towards a unique plot twist when he discovers who the dead man next to him was and his purpose for being there.

My purpose for coming to this board is twofold... While I am pretty good at making custom graphics, I do need a bit of help. I will be extending what help I can (I am especialy good at doing spritesize  poses and battle charsets) regarding this.

Secondly, to help people with coding, as it took me nearly two long years to master everything on my own.

As progress on my game is made, I will post screenshots here. This will not be a game to pass up.

Sounds good, I like the modern gang style of it, and if your good at coding, you should be able to make it a great game.

City of Angels is Los Angeles' nickname, which is the home of both the crips and the bloods.

Here is the main character's bio:

Name: Trey
Nickname: C.T.
Weapon: Sword

     In modern day times, most gangstas use gats or nines to shoot up a hood. Trey ain't most gangstas. While he gets a lot of **** from other gangstas about his weapon of choice, he knows how to use it. His personality is serious, although he adds in spurts of sarcasm sometimes when people run their mouth for the sake of runnin' it. Being white doesn't help at first, but his status grows fast and he becomes notorious for his violent actions on people who decide to cross him.

     He's being held in a blood's house when it gets shot up by a set of crips... He breaks out and eventualy joins up with the crips to get revenge and figure out what's going on. Expect ill lyrics, plenty of disses and tons of violence from this playa.
