resource thingy

yo, im new to RPG makers and i download vincent battle sprites, i imported them into the BattleChar section of "import export resources" but when i make a new hero and chose his battle sprite my imported vincent isnt on the list, any help please?

im using 2003, does that have anything to do with it or should they work?

Mmm, this is in the wrong forum. Next time, a question like this should be posted in the RPG Maker Programming forum.

But to answer your question, you'll need to set the poses first. Open the Database, and click on the Animations 2 tab. From there, create a new animation set, name it "Vincent" or whatever, click on the "Poses" tab in the middle of the window, and set the poses from there, Then, go to the Hero tab, and select the animation set you just made with the drop-down box under the walking charset of the hero.
