Anyone with a LiveJournal has probably already read at least the staff statement about the issue, but basically, they deleted a bunch of pedo journals and such. And the users are freaking out.

You know, this is really something that both angers me and doesn't surprise me. It's just something you'd expect from those kind of people, but it's still stupid enough to make you angry. I, of course, am talking about the whiny little LJ users. I mean, so a bunch of communities are gone because of some admin action. Yes, you can be angry for that. Then they come back and say, "Whoops, our bad. We're going to go over and fix the ones that shouldn't have been deleted." They're fixing their mistake, and people are still mad!

That's why it angers me, that people are so stupid that they can't take an apology (They probably want to ask for permanent accounts for all affected members to make them feel better). It doesn't surprise me because the large majority of Livejournal users are emo, obnoxious, and out-spoken to the point of annoying. They're all about serious business.

Thoughts? Counterpoints? Serious business joke images?

Yeah I agree. It's not like they paid any money for the accounts, or unless they paid for the premium account, which is stupid.

And now that they've updated their front page with a new post saying that they're doing the exact same thing they said they were going to do in the apology entry(That they were going to restore a bunch of the deleted accounts), suddenly everyone is happy.

I'd like to replace the word emo in my last post to "bi-polar".

I'd replace bi-polar with idiots, or people suffering from ADD. LJ staff knows how to handle their community.
