Compressing AVI files?

I'm usign windows movie maker which unfortunately exports HUGE files. I have an animation that I made in movie maker, that I need for my game. It gives me two options, the first is to be able to set the size, but to save it as a windows file. The second is to save it as an avi but let wmm choose the file size. RM2K3 won't let me import the windows movie file, and the avi version is 100mb (for something like 10 seconds of footage at resolution 320x240).

I tried using AVI recomp, but every time I do I get the message "Invalid Floating Point Operation"

Anyone know what's wrong with it? Or if there's another freeware I can use?

Hypercam it! wait that puts Unregistered cam in the top left window...But I tried Improting videos in 2k3 with WMM but It doesn't work!
XP MIGHT except it but 2k3 is a no.no on WindowsMM....I don't know any way to help

You know, theres a ton of youtube videos that have the code for hypercam on it.

Then, hypercam it, import it, smiley face.
