Sprite Assistance
« on: April 28, 2009, 08:47:44 PM »
How do I add my own monster sprites to RPG Maker 2003? I tried and they don't work.  I know they have to be in 256-Bitmap first so it can be read by RPG Maker, but I'm still getting the white boarder around it as well as some discoloring.  Here is an example: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v256/MetalShadowOverlord/?action=view&current=1.png  I even tried adding the blue background color that the RTP monsters have and got the same result only with a blue background. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v256/MetalShadowOverlord/?action=view&current=2.png  The files you see were saved under png after I saved them under 256-bitmap.  How do I get rid of the border?

Try importing them and selecting the background to be the transparent color.
