so this profile is a colab profile of me and my buddy, we call our selfs Zeak and Midun... or zee and em for short. we got our hands on rpg maker 2k3 and started a project instantly! and hit a wall... just as instant. so how do you make a sprite that dosnt have that giant block around it? we would apreciate any help we can get with this project

Ah the colourful block question.
Simply put, you never picked a transparent colour when you imported the file to the maker.
More explanatory:
When using rpgm2k3's import tool you get a preview of the file. In this preview you actually pick the background (transparent) colour by clicking at it. So if you import a resource and you notice the background colour flashing when importing it - that means it's chosen as the background colour and everything in that colour will appear transparent in the maker. Pretty nifty.
Oh and, post questions in the request board or the RPGM programming section if you want to make sure they're answered. Test and welcome is mostly for introductions.
