My Minecraft server (yeah, some how, this is what I'm doing with my time now)

So, I've been doing a lot of work with a buddy of mine on the server. We also got a lot of help from DragonBlaze too, who's made some badass statues and other builds for the server. Basically, we're a full fledged modded minecraft server operating on Minecraft 1.7.10. We have a few members that log on almost daily but for the most part we're kind of dead.

I just wanted to post this here an try to do a shout out for anyone who's interested in joining or maybe helping us spread the word. We are looking for more active members.

This is our forum site and this is where you can learn how to log on to the server if you're interested.

By the way, this is the server I posted about maybe a year ago now. It's grown and changed a lot since then. I'm actually surprised it hasn't fallen apart yet. Anyway, any support you can give would be much appreciated! Even if it's just votes on planetminecraft.

I've been too busy with a Minecraft Realms server than some friends of mine are hosting, so I haven't been near this in a while. Maybe I'll take a swing by sometime. It'll be tough to leave all the 1.8 stuff behind, though.

And archem, I understand. The server has changed a lot, but your plot of land is still there right where you left it.

I watch alot of Yogscast so I love most of those mods, I think I might just try it out.

I tried connecting, but I guess I'm on 1.8

Drop your version down to the correct one. It's really easy to do now. Open the launcher, then in the bottom left is a button called "Edit Profile". Go ahead and click that, and find the drop-down box labelled "Use Version". It'll likely say "Use Latest Version", but you can pick from any previously released version of the game, including the version that the server runs on (1.7.10). Click "Save Profile" at the bottom right when you've picked the correct version, and wait for the game to update. Now click play and connect to the server.

When you're ready to move back to the current version, just repeat these steps.
