[Graphics] Convert VX/Ace to 2k3

Hello everyone!

I am currently making a small game for Halloween, for which I acquired a really nice pack of resources. The graphics are made for VX/Ace, and I'd like them to be converted into 2k3 chipsets. I am not good AT ALL with chipsets in general. I tried 3-4 times, only to end up with something reaaaaally disgusting, even though reducing the 32x32 tiles to 16x16 does not make the resources disgusting themselves.
I'll share the resources by PM if someone is willing to help, as it is stated in the resource pack that they should not be distributed.
Is there anyone who could help me with converting these?
