The easiest way is to just take a bunch of screenshots, and take the sprites form those. But there's also programs like TLP that allow you to look at all the sprites in the game.

it's pretty simple. When your emulator is running, press the key "Print Screen" on your keyboard. It should be above the insert key. then open up the paint program and press CTR + V to paste the image on paint. Select whatever color for the background and just color around your preffered image! Pretty simple.
