Solar Cry

Ok, Twilight Factor didn't go too well,  :s
but here's the story anyway.

Story:

The World of Rasell is in a state of semi-peace.
Certain rules and regulations are now in place, stating that no major Wars may be fought between rival countries, and disputes have to be sorted out in a fair Battle.

Rasell is known for it's technological marvels, it's architecture and atmosphere has not progressed through Victorian Times, but magic is still rife.

The two main entities of this planet, Sol and Yggdrasil, both represent the different ways of life.

Sol, the Firey Titan, casts his image into the sky to provide power and logic to the will of life.

Yggdrasil the Life Tree, shown as a gigantic tree which is said to be the source of all that is fair and full of magic.

In this world, you are the leader of a guild, battle, trade and climb your way towards the top of the status ladder.

System:

TBS System (Much like Star Craft) but with up to 10 heroes for each side on the field at any time, mass movement of units and 6 way movement should be in this.

Races:

Human: Look in the mirror. Unless you have green skin and antenna then that's what a human looks like  :)

Lupus: Wolf-Man, stands like a human but resembles a wolf.

Felin: Cat-Man, stands like a human but resembles a cat.

Gigan: Think bowser. Giant Tortise with dragon head.

Hedra: Hedghog-Man, stands like a human but resembles a hedgehog.

Undead: An entirely new race, half magic and half technological, humanoid.

Centaur: Half Horse-Half Man, lower half is of that of a horse, uper is that of a human.

Golbin: Green Human, nothing much more.

Elfen: Human with pointy ears.

Efferet: Red human, nothing much more.

Golen: A Metal construct, big and muscular

Elemental: A Magic construct, can vary in size.

Dwarf: Short Human, 'nuffing more.

Mermanzoin: Dolphin-man, stands like a human but resembles a dolphin.

Lelik: Jellyfish-man, stands like a human but resembles a Jelly fish.

So many races O.o

Well I'm thinking of editing the Star Craft sprites, but they all hold weapons etc etc, or I'll try to do a custom.

Sounds pretty cool, good luck with the TBS though.

I just have to point this out quick, a rule like that could never be enforced. If one country wanted to go to war, whats the other one gonna do? Just tell the first country, "hey its against the rules to attack us". The only way the second country could enforce the rule was if they went to war with the first country (and won). You can have treaties and such, but actual rules really wouldn't be logical.

Anyway, that was a lot of words for such a minor detail, I think this game will turn out great, I'll be looking forward to a demo and some screenies :)

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

mmm, yeah, nice point, but I wanted it to be that way so that I could write in a war or something.
